Intelbras Drive Solar Technical Tutorial: Actuation Button Installation
This tutorial provides instructions for installing and configuring an actuation button for the Intelbras Drive Solar system.
Introduction
This tutorial will demonstrate how to install a latching actuation button to control the Drive Solar system. We will also cover resetting the driver and configuring its initial operating parameters.
Installation
For this installation, a latching actuation button is required. Use an orange or black wire to connect the button's contact to the X1 input of the solar driver. Then, connect a red wire to the "Common" (COM) terminal of the driver. After installation, perform the reset procedure to restore the equipment's factory settings.
Diagram Description: The diagram shows a close-up of the Drive Solar unit with terminals labeled 'X1' and 'COM'. An external button with a power symbol (green circle with a vertical line) is depicted, with wires connecting it to the 'X1' and 'COM' terminals.
Driver Reset Procedure
To reset the equipment, follow these steps:
- Press the Menu button; the display will show F00.
- Press Define/Enter to access the menu.
- Use the up arrow to select option F00.03.
- Press Define/Enter again to access the function.
- Keep the Define/Enter button pressed to enable value editing.

- Press Define/Enter to save.
Important: After the reset, it is necessary to configure the driver's initialization parameters and the motor's nameplate data.
Drive Initialization Parameters Configuration
Configure the following drive initialization parameters:
- F01.10 = 60hz – Maximum allowed frequency at the output.
- F01.12 = 60hz – Maximum frequency allowed by digital command.
- F01.09 = 60hz – Maximum frequency selectable via keypad.
Motor Nameplate Parameters:
- F02.01 = Number of motor poles (Default: 4)
- F02.02 = Motor power
- F02.03 = Base frequency (Default: 50Hz, modify to 60Hz)
- F02.04 = Nominal speed
- F02.05 = Nominal voltage
- F02.06 = Nominal current
Control commands via I/O terminals:
- F01.01 = 1
