HOW TO READ THE TIME
The current time is indicated by the [time indicator] which points to the numbers for the time set.
The minute disk and hour disk are interlocking such that they move together, similar to a standard watch hand display. Consequently, the hour disk display may not point directly at the right number; either disk may be shifted slightly ahead or behind.
For example, for a time of 8:30 a.m., the indicator points at 30 on the minute disk and lies between 08 and 09 on the hour disk.
Example time display:
- 8:00: The time indicator points to 00 on the minute disk and 8 on the hour disk.
- 8:30: The time indicator points to 30 on the minute disk and between 8 and 9 on the hour disk.
- 8:50: The time indicator points to 50 on the minute disk and between 8 and 9 on the hour disk.
When setting the time, first move the disks back a few minutes before the current time and then slowly advance the disks to the correct time. Please refer to the "HOW TO READ THE TIME" section for further details and ensure the time and date are adjusted correctly.
HOW TO SET THE MONTHLY CALENDAR [TYPE-B]
Some models feature a calendar function using an inner ring or bezel on the exterior of the case to indicate the date. The monthly calendar is operated by turning the crown to set the rotating ring inside the watchcase and aligning it with the day of the week printed on the dial.
Turn the crown to align the first day of the month with the appropriate day of the week.
Note: When setting the first day of the month, if the days at the end of the month (e.g., 31st) align with the section of the dial that does not have the days of the week printed (typically the 3-4 o'clock side), the days of the week will not be indicated at the end of the month.
The position of the inner ring crown and details of the date indicator may vary depending on the model.
