Important Safety Instructions
⚠️ CAUTION: Electrical Shock Hazard!
This product features a polarized plug, meaning one blade is wider than the other. This design reduces the risk of electric shock and ensures the plug fits into a polarized outlet in only one orientation. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse it. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use this product with an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted. Do not attempt to bypass the safety features of the polarized plug or alter the plug in any way.
⚡ TO PREVENT ELECTRICAL SHOCK: Match the wide blade of the plug to the wide slot in the outlet and ensure it is fully inserted.
Different materials require different types of fittings. Always choose screws and plugs that are specially suited to the material for secure installation.
Assembly Instructions
Please follow these steps carefully for safe and correct assembly of your RANARP spotlight.
Parts Included:
- Wall mount bracket (1x)
- Clamp mechanism with screw (1x)
- Wing nut screw (1x)
[tool-not-required] A screwdriver is not required for certain assembly steps.
Step 1: Attach Clamp to Lamp Arm
Connect the clamp mechanism to the lamp arm. Insert the screw and tighten the wing nut securely. [detail-view] shows a close-up of tightening the wing nut.
Step 2: Adjust Clamp Mechanism
Adjust the clamp mechanism by inserting the spring-loaded screw and tightening it. ⬆️ (Move upwards) and ↪️ (Tighten screw).
Step 3: Mount Clamp to Surface
Attach the clamp to your desired surface (e.g., a desk, shelf, or wall). The clamp can accommodate surfaces with a maximum thickness of 35 mm (1.4 inches). ⬆️ (Position upwards) and ⬇️ (Position downwards) indicate placement.
Step 4: Secure Clamp
Ensure the clamp is correctly aligned with the mounting point on the surface. Insert the screw through the clamp and into the surface, then tighten to secure. [incorrect-method] shows an improper attachment method.
Step 5: Attach Lamp to Wall Bracket
If using the wall bracket, attach the bracket to the wall first (screws for wall mounting are not included and depend on wall material). Then, align the lamp's clamp mechanism with the wall bracket and press firmly to secure. ➡️ (Adjust position).
Step 6: Final Check
Ensure the lamp is securely attached to the bracket or surface. [detail-view] shows the securing clip.
Incorrect Usage Warnings:
Do not use the clamp in the following ways:
- ❌ Do not clamp onto pipes.
- ❌ Do not clamp onto curtain rods.
- ❌ Do not place the lamp on a bed.
- ❌ Do not place the lamp near curtains.
Step 7: Install Light Bulb
Install a suitable light bulb into the lamp socket. ↪️ (Tighten bulb).
ℹ️ Note: Tighten if necessary to ensure stability.
