Operation

Overview

  1. Before first use, charge the speakers for approximately 6 hours.
  2. The Outdoor Bluetooth Rock Speakers must automatically pair together before syncing to a Bluetooth device.

Turning the Unit ON

  1. On each speaker, press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds.
  2. On one speaker, quickly press the Power Button once. On the second speaker, quickly press it twice.
  3. The speakers will automatically pair. Allow 5-10 seconds for pairing.
  4. An audible tone will play on both speakers when they are synced.

Connecting an External Device via Bluetooth

  1. After pairing, the speakers will search for a Bluetooth device. The Bluetooth LED Indicator will blink slowly.
  2. Activate the Bluetooth function on your external device.
  3. Select "The Rock" on your device to begin pairing. An audible beep signifies pairing, and the Bluetooth LED indicator will remain solid Blue.
  4. Begin playing music.

Note: Familiarize yourself with your device's Bluetooth capabilities. Obstacles can reduce operational range. Keep the unit away from devices that may cause interference. If prompted for a password or PIN, enter "0000."

Turning the Unit OFF

  1. Press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds to turn OFF both speakers.

NOTE: The speakers will enter standby mode automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity.

Battery Charging

  1. Recharge the internal battery using the supplied Micro USB Cable connected to the DC 5V Input port. Connect the other end to a PC or the included 5V, 2A power adapter.
  2. The Red Charging LED indicator stays lit during charging and turns Blue when charging is complete. Charging takes 5-6 hours.

Note: If the unit has not been used for a long period, the battery may be in "sleep mode." To initialize, charge for longer than 6 hours but DO NOT exceed 24 hours. Battery life varies with usage. Loud music with heavy bass drains the battery faster.

Caution: The built-in rechargeable battery is not replaceable. Do not remove, replace, throw in trash or fire, or dispose of in standard garbage sites. Dispose of device at available Battery Recycling Sites [battery recycling symbol]. Not doing so may violate local disposal laws. Refer to local regulations for proper battery disposal.

Troubleshooting

  1. STATIC DISTURBANCE: If sound quality issues (distortion, breaks, interference) occur, ensure all devices (your Bluetooth device and both speakers) are within a 33-foot range of each other. Move devices closer to resolve. A diagram illustrates the recommended Bluetooth range, showing devices within 33 feet of each other.
  2. ONLY ONE SPEAKER IS CONNECTED: If sound plays from only one speaker, the initial Bluetooth connection may have failed or speakers didn't have enough time to pair. Turn OFF your speakers and Bluetooth device. After a few moments, turn ON speakers and allow 5-10 seconds to pair. Once the audible tone plays, reconnect to your Bluetooth device. Both speakers should connect and play music.
  3. STATIC PLAYBACK FROM LAPTOP: If sound quality issues occur, the Bluetooth Connection Window on your device might be causing interference. Close the Bluetooth Connection Window on your Mac or PC. Continue playing music; sound quality should return to normal. Screenshots show typical Bluetooth connection windows for Mac and PC.
  4. TO RESET THE SPEAKERS: If the speaker malfunctions, turn it OFF for a few minutes, then turn it ON. If it continues to malfunction, use a paperclip to press the Reset Function Pinhole on the Side Panel to reset to original factory settings. Refer to the Buttons and Controls Diagram on Page 3.
  5. WATERPROOF RESISTANCE: Each speaker has an IPX4 waterproof level, suitable for water splashing conditions (e.g., near sprinklers, pools, outdoor areas). DO NOT fully submerge speakers in liquid. If the product becomes significantly wet, dry it thoroughly before use.
