Troubleshooting
Bluetooth
- Optimal Bluetooth range is within 50ft (15m).
- If pairing fails, ensure the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode (Bluetooth LED flashing blue) and not Auracast pairing mode (Auracast LED flashing green).
Auracast Multi-Speaker Mode
- Optimal Auracast range varies but can exceed 215ft (65m) in ideal conditions. Move client speakers closer to the host if pairing takes longer than 5-10 seconds.
- If a Host speaker disconnects from Bluetooth, it will search for a new Bluetooth device to restore the broadcast. Connected Client speakers remain connected to the Host.
- If a speaker is not connected to Bluetooth and enters Auracast mode, it will automatically become a Client speaker and connect to the nearest Auracast broadcast.
- Only one speaker (Host) should be connected to a Bluetooth device. Other speakers (Clients) connect to the Host.
- A Client speaker in Auracast mode can only play music from an Auracast broadcast. To exit, press the Auracast or Bluetooth button to connect to a Bluetooth device.
Charging
- Solar: For optimal performance, ensure the speaker is under direct sunlight. Solar charging works best in direct sunlight but can also charge in indirect or cloudy conditions. Confirm charging when the Power LED flashes white.
- USB-C: Connect the USB-C power to the back of the speaker. The USB-C to USB-C cable is included. Ensure the USB-C flap is closed when not charging to maintain the IP65 rating.
Battery Life: Battery life varies with usage. Loud music with heavy bass will drain the battery faster than spoken word audio.
