Dimensions and Mounting
The Virsma Step Light features a rectangular profile with the following dimensions: Length 145mm, Width 61.5mm, Height 28.5mm. The mounting base includes two holes, each with a 5mm diameter, spaced 61.5mm apart.
Mounting Base Diagram Description: The base plate is designed for wall mounting and indicates the positions for securing the fitting, with two circular mounting points.
Important Safety Information
- This product must be installed by a qualified electrician according to AS/NZS 3000.
- Ensure all electrical mains are disconnected before any installation.
- Do not exceed maximum wattage restrictions for globes: 240V GU10 = 35w / 12V MR16 = 20w.
- Modification of this product will void any warranty.
- Havit Lighting is not responsible for incorrect installation, misuse, or the use of non-system installation materials.
- For low voltage fittings, the voltage must be within +/- 5% of the required voltage and the fitting must be installed no more than 25m from the LED Driver; otherwise, the warranty will be voided.
- Aluminium and 304SS fittings must not be installed within 2km of salt water environments.
- When installing copper fittings, wear gloves to avoid transferring oils to the fitting.
- All 316 stainless steel fittings require regular cleaning maintenance to prevent tea staining (warranty does not cover tea staining).
- Ensure all o-rings and seals are correctly in place to maintain warranty.

Installation Steps
Note: Steps for 12V and 240V versions are similar, with key differences noted.
- Ensure the electrical circuit is de-energized (master switch off).
- Loosen the side allen screws, remove the face plate, and set it aside.
- Install the base plate to the wall in the desired location.
- For 12V: Use an appropriate 12v DC LED Driver. DO NOT CONNECT THE LIGHT FITTING DIRECTLY TO 240V.
For 240V: Connect the cable using wire with an earth connection. Connect the earth wire first, followed by the live and neutral wires. - Connect the cable. If installing multiple fittings, wiring must be done in parallel.
- The fitting is preset to 3000k. To change the colour temperature, slide the switch to the desired setting.
- Reattach the face plate to the base plate, ensuring the allen screws are tightened securely to prevent water penetration.
- Apply silicone sealant around the edge of the fitting to prevent water ingress to electrical connections.
- Carry out all connections carefully. Inspect all contacts before switching the electric circuit back on.
