Product Overview and Introduction
Thanks for choosing the HUION mini Keydial KD100. This is a first-generation professional mini keyboard designed to greatly improve your work efficiency in painting and creation, offering a fun and customizable experience. You can freely define the function of each button, providing a unique user experience.
To ensure a better understanding and usage of your keyboard, please read this user manual carefully. This manual primarily details information for Windows, but unless otherwise specified, the information applies to both Windows and Mac systems.

Accessories
After unboxing your package, please ensure you have the following items:
- Mini Keydial*1
- USB Cable*1
- Wireless Receiver*1
- Quick Start Guide*1

Product Connection
The product supports two connection methods: wired and wireless. Please choose the method that best suits your usage.
1. Wired Connection
Connect the Keydial to your computer using the provided USB cable. Follow these steps:
- Take out the USB cable from the package and connect the Keydial to your computer.
- Download the Keydial Driver from the HUION website (Driver-KD100). If you have already installed another HUION display or tablet driver (V15), you do not need to download the driver again, as they can work together with a single driver.
- Open the driver interface. The device picture will be displayed on the interface, indicating that the tablet is successfully connected to the computer. You can now start using the device.

2. Wireless Connection
Please follow these steps for wireless connection:
- Insert the wireless receiver into your computer's USB port.
- Switch the power button on the Keydial to power it on.
- If the device is not used for 15 minutes, it will enter sleep mode. In this case, switch the power button on again to wake the tablet up.

LED Light Status
You can determine the working status of the product by observing the color of the LED light:
- Blue light: Working
- Flash red light: Low battery
- Red light: Charging
- Green light: Charged
- Flash blue light: Standby
- Light off: Off state

Driver Installation
Please download the driver from our website: Driver-KD100.
Note:
- You do not need to download the driver if you have already installed another display or tablet driver (V15), as they can work together with one driver.
- Before installing the driver, please close all graphic software and antivirus programs.
- Ensure your computer's operating system is compatible: Windows 7 or later, macOS 10.12 or later.
- Run the tablet driver program and complete the installation according to the instructions.
After the download is successful, double-click to open the driver and connect the device to your computer. If the connection fails, please reconnect the computer to the device or restart the driver or computer.

Driver Interface Overview
The HUION driver interface provides various settings and customization options for the KD100.
1. KeyDial Section
This is the primary interface for setting the Keydial functions, including Press Key and Dial customization.
2. Store Section
The Huion Store allows you to access the latest product information, FAQs, sales promotions, and purchase other products or accessories.
3. Add Programs Section
You can customize different functions for specific programs. When 'All programs' is selected, the device settings apply universally. By clicking 'Add a Program' from the dropdown list, you can assign unique settings for individual applications. The driver will automatically recognize and apply these settings when a specific program is launched.

4. Setting Section
This section allows access to Device Information, Backup Settings, General Settings, and Driver Updates.
5. Switch between Devices
The driver supports connecting two digital drawing devices simultaneously. You can customize settings for each device by switching the driver interface to the corresponding device.

Keydial Settings
Brightness of LED
Adjust the brightness of the LED light from level 1 (darkest) to level 5 (brightest).
Dial Function Setting
You can select between Customize mode, Radial mode, or Off mode for the Dial's features. In Customize mode, you can define specific functions for the Dial.
Sleep Time
By default, the device enters sleep mode after 30 minutes of inactivity. You can adjust this to 1h, 1.5h, or 2h based on your usage habits.
Restore Default
Click this option to restore all default settings, including LED brightness, sleep time, key functions, dial functions, and interface color.
Keys Function Setting
Customize the functions of the individual buttons according to your preferences. Refer to the 'Press Key' section for details.
Driver Settings
1. Device
View product information for your HUION device.

2. Backup
The driver allows you to import and export your custom settings, which is useful for avoiding repetitive configurations when switching between programs.

3. General Setting
Configure general driver preferences:
- Language: Select your preferred language from the dropdown menu.
- Color: Choose the interface color from Dark, Blue, or Light options.
- Start Menu: Enable or disable features like AutoStart, New Message Alert, and Automatic Updates.
- Hotkey: Set a custom hotkey to quickly launch the driver interface.

4. About
Check the driver version number here. Click 'Check for Updates' to view the latest driver version and follow the prompts to update if necessary.

Function Setting: Keys Function Setting
Press Key Customization
You can customize the functions of the press keys according to your habits. Uncheck "Enable press keys" in the lower-left corner to disable the button functions. Place the cursor over a key to view its default value. Click on a key to open a pop-up dialog box for setting its function. You can assign a name to the keystroke, select its property, and customize the function.
1. Keyboard Key
Enter a valid key combination (e.g., "Ctrl+A", "Ctrl+Z") in the input box to create a shortcut.

2. Mouse Key
Select functions for mouse actions or wheel movements. Available functions include Left Button, Right Button, Middle Button, Wheel Forward, Wheel Backward, and Double-Left Click.

3. Run Program
Browse and select an application you wish to launch quickly. After setting, a single press of the key will launch the selected program.

4. System Application
Assign system-level functions to press keys, such as Lock the Screen, Sleep, Power Off, Show/Hide Desktop, Task View, Start Menu, and Calculator.

5. Multimedia
Assign multimedia control functions to press keys, including Previous Song, Next Song, Play/Pause, Volume Up, Volume Down, and Muted.

6. Settings Preview
Use a key to bring up the preview setting function.

7. Quick Menu
Use a key to bring up the Quick Menu. You can customize different quick menus for different applications.

8. None
When 'None' is selected, the assigned key will have no function.
Dial Function Setting
Customize the features of the Dial. You can uncheck "Enable Dial" in the lower-left corner to turn off the Dial function.
Click the Dial to open a pop-up box displaying three groups of current settings for modification. There are four main properties for the Dial: Default, Multimedia, Customize Function, and None.
1. Default Features
You can use the Dial for common functions like zooming in/out on a canvas, adjusting brush size, and scrolling up/down.

2. Multimedia
Configure the Dial for multimedia controls such as previous song, next song, play/pause, volume up, and volume down.

3. Customize Features
Input features for rotating the Dial clockwise or counter-clockwise. After setting, rotating the Dial will perform the assigned corresponding features.

4. None
When 'None' is selected, the Dial will have no function.
