System Overview
This document provides a block wiring diagram for the Aiphone JV Series intercom system. It details the connections for a configuration featuring one door station (JV-DV/F), two indoor answering units (JV-1FD, JV-1MD), a RY-1824L relay unit, and a PS-2420UL power supply, used in conjunction with a door strike.
Key Components:
- Door Station: JV-DV/F - The outdoor unit for communication.

Wiring Connections:

Power Distribution
- The PS-2420UL power supply's positive [+] and negative [-] terminals connect to the RY-1824L relay's "Power In" [+] and [-] terminals.
- The RY-1824L relay's "Power Out" [+] and [-] terminals supply power to the "Lock Power" terminals and the indoor answering units (JV-1FD, JV-1MD).
- The "Lock Power" terminals provide power to the Door Strike.
Door Station and Indoor Unit Interconnection
- The JV-DV/F door station's terminals A1 and A2 connect to the corresponding A1 and A2 terminals on both the JV-1FD and JV-1MD indoor units.
- The JV-1FD and JV-1MD units also feature B1 and B2 terminals, typically used for connecting additional indoor units or other system components.
Door Strike Control via RY-1824L
- The RY-1824L relay has two "L" terminals which interface with the door strike.
- The Door Strike is connected via its wires: Brown (COM), Orange (N/O - Normally Open), and Yellow (N/C - Normally Closed). These wires connect to the RY-1824L.
- A "Red" wire from the JV-DV/F door station connects to one of the RY-1824L "L" terminals, likely initiating the strike release signal.
- A "Silver" wire is shown connecting from the RY-1824L to the PS-2420UL, potentially serving as a common ground or return path for the strike circuit.
