Caution: Never insert objects into the ventilation grille when the appliance is switched on. Connect the appliance only to alternating current with a mains voltage corresponding to the information on the appliance's rating plate. Never bend the power cord sharply or allow it to run across hot parts. Fully unwind the cord to prevent overheating. Never place the appliance near heat-emitting appliances like ovens, gas cookers, or hotplates. Keep the appliance at a distance from walls or other objects that could catch fire, such as curtains or towels. Always ensure the appliance is placed on an even, flat surface. Use the appliance indoors only. Do not leave the appliance unsupervised when it is operational. If you wish to move the appliance, ensure it is switched off. Do not use the appliance if the plug, cord, or appliance is damaged, or if it no longer functions properly or has been dropped or damaged in any other way. In such cases, consult the retailer or the technical service department. If the appliance's power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service, or a similarly qualified person to prevent hazardous situations. Never replace the plug or cord yourself. Repairs to electrical appliances must only be performed by qualified technicians. Incorrect repairs can cause significant hazards for the user. Never use the appliance with parts not recommended or supplied by the manufacturer. Do not pull the cord or appliance to remove the plug from the wall socket. Never touch the appliance with wet or moist hands. Never connect the appliance to an external timer or separate remote control system to prevent hazardous situations. Keep the appliance out of reach of children. Children do not perceive the dangers involved in handling electrical appliances. Therefore, never allow children to work with electrical appliances without supervision. Keep the appliance and cord out of reach of children younger than 8 years of age. The appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and older and by persons with limited physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, provided they use the appliance under supervision or have been instructed on its safe use and understand the associated hazards. Children are not allowed to play with the appliance. The appliance must not be cleaned or maintained by children, unless done under supervision. If the appliance is not in use or is being cleaned, switch it off completely by removing the plug from the socket. Extension cords may only be used if the mains voltage (see rating plate) and capacity are identical to or higher than that of the appliance. Always use an approved extension cord. If you decide not to use the appliance anymore due to a defect, we recommend cutting the cord after removing the plug from the wall socket. Take the appliance to your municipality's waste processing department. Never submerge the appliance, cord, or plug in water. This appliance is intended for household and similar use, such as in staff kitchens, shops, offices, work environments, hotels, motels, residential environments, Bed & Breakfasts, and farms. Improper use of the appliance may result in no compensation for defects or accidents, and the warranty will be invalidated.

Assembly Instructions

Before using the fan for the first time, unpack the appliance and all components carefully, removing all packaging material and promotional stickers. Keep packaging (plastic bags and cardboard) out of children's reach. After unpacking, check the appliance thoroughly for any external damage that may have occurred during transport. Assemble the fan according to the instructions:

  1. Begin by placing the footplate onto the foot of the fan. Tighten the wing nut [a] by a quarter turn to secure the footplate to the foot.
  2. Place the rear protective guard onto the fan.
  3. Fasten it with the lock ring.
  4. Insert the fan blade onto the fan. Test the fan blade by rotating it by hand. During rotation, the blade should not cause any friction with the lock ring. If it does, disassemble the fan and repeat all steps from the beginning.
  5. Mount the fan blade with the fastening cap. Tighten the fastening cap by turning it counter-clockwise.
  6. Place the front protective guard onto the fan and attach it to the rear protective guard using the clamps.
    • Align the front protective guard with the rear protective guard using the positioning clamp [b] on the bottom to properly attach both parts. Secure the guards at the top with the bolt and nut.
    • Press the clamps [c] downwards to attach the front and rear protective guards to each other.

Diagrams illustrate the assembly process:

Parts shown: Motor, Foot, Footplate (1), Rear Protective Guard (2), Lock Ring (3), Fan Blade (4), Fastening Cap (5), Front Protective Guard (6), Bolt and Nut (a).

Place the fan on a flat, stable surface. Clean the exterior of the fan with a slightly damp cloth and then dry it with a dry cloth. The fan is now ready for use.

Using the Fan

Place the fan on a flat, stable surface. Insert the plug into a wall socket. Press the desired speed setting to turn on the fan. The speed selector has the following options: 0 = off, 1 = slow, 2 = medium, 3 = fast. To switch off the fan, press the [0] button.

Oscillation: This fan can oscillate (swivel left and right) for better air displacement. To change the airflow direction upwards or downwards, simply move the fan head up or down.

Operation: Push the oscillation pin inwards to allow the fan to oscillate. To stop oscillation, pull the pin out.

Manual Tilting: The fan head can be tilted manually.

Speed Buttons: Buttons labeled 0, 1, 2, 3 are used for speed selection and power off.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Before cleaning the fan, switch it off [0] and remove the plug from the socket.

  • Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
  • If necessary, clean the protective guards using a vacuum cleaner nozzle.
  • Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
  • Never submerge the fan in water or any other liquid.
