Control Panel
The control panel features a central colored LCD display. Around the display are several knobs: HOME/MEMORY/Back (2), PARA/Confirm (3), TRACK 1 (4), TRACK 2 (5), DRUM 1 (6), DRUM 2 (7), MIC LEVEL (8), and MASTER (9). Below the display are buttons: DRUM/STYLE (11), TAP TEMPO (12), SAVE/DEL (13), and TRACK1/2 (10). There are also three footswitches: Footswitch 1 (14), Footswitch 2, and Footswitch 3 (CTRL).
2. HOME/MEMORY/Back knob: Twist to select a memory (00-99). Press to return to Settings. Press and hold to return to Home.
3. PARA/Confirm knob: Twist to change settings or adjust parameters. Press to enter a setting or confirm.
4. TRACK 1 knob: Adjust volume level for Track 1.
5. TRACK 2 knob: Adjust volume level for Track 2.
6. DRUM 1 knob: Adjust volume level for Drum 1.
7. DRUM 2 knob: Adjust volume level for Drum 2.
8. MIC LEVEL knob: Adjust gain for microphone input.
9. MASTER knob: Adjust master volume.
10. SYNC/SPLIT button: Switches between SYNC mode (two loopers play together) and SPLIT mode (track 1 and track 2 play one by one, with independent drum assignments).
11. DRUM/STYLE button: Turn drum on/off. Press and hold to set drum style.
12. TAP TEMPO button: Set tempo by tapping. Press and hold to enter tempo value setting.
13. SAVE/DEL button: Save recording data. Press and hold to delete a memory.
14. Footswitch 1: In SYNC mode, controls Track 1 recording/playback/dubbing, undo/redo. In SPLIT mode, controls Track 1 recording/playback/dubbing, undo/redo.
Footswitch 2: In SYNC mode, selects Track 1 or Track 2. In SPLIT mode, controls Track 2 recording/playback/dubbing, undo/redo.
Footswitch 3 (CTRL): Stops loop/drum playback. Hold to clear data. Function can be configured in Global Settings.

I/O Jacks
MIC/INPUT 1: Combined XLR & 1/4-inch jack for microphone or instrument. Features a [+48V Phantom Power] toggle switch. Warning: Do not activate phantom power for non-condenser microphones.
INST/INPUT 2: 1/4-inch jack for guitar or instrument.
OUTPUT L (Mono): 1/4-inch jack for connecting to an amplifier or mixer.
OUTPUT R: 1/4-inch jack for connecting to an amplifier or mixer.
AUX IN: 1/8-inch stereo miniature jack for audio equipment.
PHONES: 1/8-inch stereo miniature jack for earphones.
MIDI IN: 1/8-inch stereo miniature jack for MIDI device input.
MIDI OUT: 1/8-inch stereo miniature jack for MIDI device output.
EXP Jack: 1/4-inch TRS phone jack for connecting an NMP-2 Dual Footswitch or an expression pedal. Can be configured for volume control (MASTER VOL, LOOPER VOL, DRUM VOL).
DC IN jack: For connecting the NUX ACD-006A adapter (9V 500mA).
USB port: USB-C type for audio streaming and file transfer.
Connections
The NUX DUAL LOOP STEREO pedal connects to various audio sources and outputs. A guitar or microphone connects to INST/INPUT 2 or MIC/INPUT 1 respectively. Headphones connect to the PHONES jack. Amplifiers or mixers connect to OUTPUT L/R. External devices like MIDI controllers or players can connect via MIDI IN/OUT and AUX IN. An expression pedal or footswitch can be connected to the EXP jack. The pedal is powered by the DC IN jack and can connect to a computer via USB.
How to Use
- Plug in and power on the pedal.
- Select an empty memory (01-99) using the MEMORY knob. Press the SYNC/SPLIT button to choose a loop mode.
- Use Footswitch 1 to record, play, or overdub phrases. Hold Footswitch 1 to undo/redo. Double-click to stop.
- In SYNC mode, Footswitch 2 switches between Track 1 and Track 2.
- In SPLIT mode, Footswitch 1 controls Track 1, and Footswitch 2 controls Track 2 for recording/playback/dubbing.
- Press the DRUM/STYLE button to toggle the drum on/off. Hold to select drum styles.
- Press the SAVE button to save recorded phrases.
USB Functions
USB Audio Stream
Connect the pedal to a computer via USB to record the loop, drum, and any sound from your guitar & mic. Set the USB mode to "USB AUDIO STREAM".
Import Playbacks
Connect the pedal to a computer to import backing tracks. The pedal supports 44.1kHz/32-bit stereo floating WAV format. Use the NuxFormatConverter tool (available for download from NUX Audio's support section) to convert files. Set the USB mode to "IMPORT/EXPORT WAV FILES".
Customize Boot-up Picture
Users can customize the boot-up screen with a GIF image (960*376 pixels, max 2MB). Set USB mode to "IMPORT/EXPORT WAV FILES", copy the GIF to the NUX LOOPER > NML-3DLS > GIF folder, then select "USER" in the DISPLAY setting and reboot the pedal.
