Anderic Master Instruction Manual

Applicable for models: RRH100, RRH200, RRHC100, RRHC200

Introduction

Thank you for purchasing this Universal Hospitality remote by Anderic®. This remote requires two AAA size batteries, not included. A screw for the battery cover is provided, though it is optional as the cover stays in place without it.

Optional Security Cable Attachment

An optional Security Cable is available from anderic.com (Part number: CBL01). This cable attaches under the battery cover for a secure and flush appearance.

Pre-programmed Codes

This remote is pre-programmed to LG and VIZIO TVs for TV mode, and DirecTV for STB Mode (Set-Top-Box) by default. If your TV or STB is not one of these brands, you will need to program the remote using the following methods.

Programming the remote: Direct Code Input Method

  1. Turn on the device to be controlled and find the corresponding brand code from the attached code list.
  2. Press and release the device mode key ([TV] or [STB]).
  3. Press and hold [S] and [ENTER] keys simultaneously for about three seconds until the indicator light lights and remains on, then release both keys.
  4. Input the four-digit code. The indicator light will go out if the code is saved successfully. If the light blinks slowly three times and goes out, an error occurred, and you should repeat steps 1-4 with a different code.
  5. Verify if most keys control the device. If not, restart steps 1-4 with another code.
  6. If all codes for your brand are unsuccessful, try the "Programming the remote - Code Search" method.

Note: Exiting programming mode occurs if any button other than number buttons is pressed, or if no button is pressed for 10 seconds.

Programming the remote: Code Search Method

Use this method if your brand is not listed or if previously tried codes did not work. This method scans through all codes in the database.

Manual search

  1. Turn on the device to be controlled.
  2. Press and release the device mode key ([TV] or [STB]).
  3. Press and hold [S] and [ENTER] keys simultaneously for about three seconds until the indicator light lights and remains on, then release both keys.
  4. Repeatedly press [CH+] to search forward or [CH-] to search backward. The remote will send the POWER code for each step.
  5. When the device turns off, immediately press the [S] button to save and exit.
  6. Check if most keys control the device. If not, restart from step 1; the remote will resume from where it left off in the code database.

Auto search

  1. Turn on the device to be controlled.
  2. Press and release the device mode key ([TV] or [STB]).
  3. Press and hold [S] and [ENTER] keys simultaneously for about three seconds until the indicator light lights and remains on, then release both keys.
  4. Press and release the [POWER] key. The mode indicator light will blink once, then continue to blink every 2 seconds as the remote sends POWER codes sequentially. Pressing [CH+] or [CH-] will change the search direction.
  5. When the device turns off, immediately press the [S] button to save and exit.
  6. Check if most keys control the device. If not, restart from step 1; the remote will resume from where it left off in the code database.

Code Display

Use this method to display the currently programmed code.

  1. Press and release the device mode key ([TV] or [STB]) for which you want to display the programmed code.
  2. Press and release [MUTE] and [1] simultaneously. The indicator light flashing indicates the first digit of the code. A digit '0' will not cause the light to flash.
  3. Press and release [MUTE] and [2] simultaneously. The indicator light flashing indicates the second digit.
  4. Press and release [MUTE] and [3] simultaneously. The indicator light flashing indicates the third digit.
  5. Press and release [MUTE] and [4] simultaneously. The indicator light flashing indicates the fourth digit.

Note: If the digit is 0, the indicator light will not flash.

Single Press Combined POWER Key

This feature allows powering on/off both your TV and STB with a single press of the [POWER] button. If enabled, the [POWER] key sends codes for both units. If disabled, it sends the code only for the TV.

  1. Press and hold [S] and [ENTER] keys simultaneously for about three seconds until the indicator light lights and remains on, then release both keys.
  2. The device mode indicator light will illuminate.
  3. Input code [9][9][9][5].
  4. Enabled: (0 blinks) If the indicator light turns off immediately after inputting the four digits, the "one key power-off all devices" feature is enabled.
  5. Disabled: (2 blinks) If the indicator light blinks twice after inputting the four digits, the feature is disabled.

Note: Once enabled, pressing [POWER] sends the STB Power code followed by the TV Power code.

STB (set-top-box) Punch-Through Function

When enabled, this feature ensures that STB-related keys always send codes programmed under STB mode, regardless of the remote's current mode. This feature is enabled by default. Affected keys include 0-9, Enter, Prev CH, CC, CH+, and CH-.

  1. Press and hold [S] and [ENTER] keys simultaneously for about three seconds until the indicator light lights and remains on, then release both keys.
  2. The device mode indicator light will illuminate.
  3. Input code [9][9][9][0].
  4. Enabled: (0 blinks) If the indicator light turns off immediately after inputting the four digits, "STB punch-through" is enabled.
  5. Disabled: (2 blinks) If the indicator light blinks twice after inputting the four digits, "STB punch-through" is disabled.

  4. Enabled: (0 blinks) If the indicator light turns off immediately after inputting the four digits, "TV punch-through" is enabled.
  5. Disabled: (2 blinks) If the indicator light blinks twice after inputting the four digits, "TV punch-through" is disabled.

Individually Assign Key Punch-through Lock

Note: Before proceeding, ensure "TV Punch-through Function," "STB punch-through Function," and "Single Press Combined Power Key" are disabled. This applies to all buttons except [S], [TV], and [STB]. To reassign a key to a different mode, first unlock it using the "Individually Assign Punch-through Unlock" section, then repeat steps 1-4 to reassign.

About

This allows for individually assigning keys to "punch-through" to a chosen mode. Once enabled, the key will always send codes for the assigned mode, irrespective of the remote's current mode.

  1. Press and hold [S] and [ENTER] keys simultaneously for about three seconds until the indicator light lights and remains on, then release both keys.
  2. Input the 2-digit code [9][8].
  3. Press the button you wish to lock.
  4. Press the device mode button ([TV] or [STB]) to assign it to. If successful, the indicator light will turn off immediately after pressing the mode button. Repeat steps 1-4 for each button lock.

Individually Assign Punch-through Unlock

  1. Press and hold [S] and [ENTER] keys simultaneously for about three seconds until the indicator light lights and remains on, then release both keys.
  2. Input the three digits [9][0][0].
  3. Press the button you want to unlock. The indicator light will blink once and then turn off.

  1. Press and release the device mode key ([TV] or [STB]) for which you want to lock the code.
  2. Press and hold [S] and [ENTER] keys simultaneously for about three seconds until the indicator light lights and remains on, then release both keys.
  3. Input code [9][9][9][9].
  4. Locked: If the indicator light turns off directly after the 4-digit input, the mode is successfully locked.
  5. Unlocked: If the indicator light blinks twice and then turns off after the 4-digit input, the mode is successfully unlocked.

Note: This restores the remote to factory default status while retaining the current 1-Device or 2-Device mode.

  1. Press and hold [S] and [ENTER] keys simultaneously for about three seconds until the indicator light lights and remains on, then release both keys.
  2. Input code [9][9][9][6]. The indicator light will turn off, indicating the remote has been reset to factory default status.

Reset to Factory Default Status
