Fit & Compatibility
The 2BLT4R Relight Assembly is designed for upgrading recessed 2'x4' fixtures, including most parabolic and lensed troffers. Dimensional requirements are provided. Lithonia Lighting recommends trial installations for project quantities.
Bracket Types
Standard Bracket: For 15/16" and 9/16" T-grid, narrow screw-slot, and some hard ceiling installations.
"F" Bracket: For hard ceilings with "Lay-In" style plaster frames or integral drywall mounting. Does not have T-grid return flange, allowing use in obstructed or narrow grid ceilings.
LPB Bracket: One-piece low profile bracket for installations with obstructed housings.
Replacement / Trial Parts
Information on ordering replacement end brackets and flange bracket assemblies is available, with specific CI codes provided for 2x4, 2x2, and 1x4 sizes.
Differences between standard BLTR 2pc bracket and LPB 1-piece low profile bracket
The standard 2-piece bracket has an upper "T" bracket for mounting and bridging obstructions. The LPB 1-piece design was developed for specific older troffers with endplate obstructions.

Sensor Coverage Pattern (Mini 360° Lens)
Recommended for walking motion detection from 8 ft (2.44 m) to 20 ft (6.10 m). Provides initial detection of walking motion along sensor axes up to 15 ft (4.57 m) at 2x mounting height, and up to 20 ft (6.10 m) at 1.75x. Offers 12 ft (3.66 m) radial detection of small motion at 9 ft (2.74 m) mounting height. Initial detection occurs earlier when walking across the sensor's field of view.
Embedded Controls Application Notes
MSD7ADCX (PIR): Ideal for areas without obstructions and where daylight harvesting is desired (hallways, corridors, storage, breakrooms).
MSDPDT7ADCX (PIR/Microphonics): Ideal for areas with obstructions and daylight harvesting (open offices, private offices, classrooms, restrooms, conference rooms).
nLight AIR with Wireless Sensor (rES7/rES7PDT): Suitable for retrofit/new construction where wiring is difficult. Sensors are part of the nLight AIR network, allowing grouping and control of multiple luminaires. Offers granular control with PIR/daylight sensing.
Wired Sensor (nES7/nESPDT7): nES7 is ideal for small rooms without obstructions or with primarily walking motion (hallways, corridors, storage, breakrooms). nES7ADCX includes photocell for daylight harvesting. nESPDT7 is recommended for areas with obstructions (restrooms, offices, conference rooms), utilizing PIR and Microphonics technologies. nESPDT7ADCX also includes photocell.
Sequence of Operation
MSD7 Sensor: Motion detected (Lights ON) -> Time Delay (e.g., 17.5 min) -> No Motion Detected (Lights OFF). Automatic dimming photocell preset to 5fc.
nES7/rES7 Sensor: Motion detected (Lights ON) -> Time Delay (e.g., 7.5 min) -> No Motion Detected (Lights OFF). Automatic dimming photocell preset to 5fc (nES7) or 10fc (rES7).

*Minimum delivered lumen output for product selection.
The CP10 delivered emergency illumination outperforms legacy 1400 lumen fluorescent emergency ballasts. Please contact productsupportemergency@acuitybrands.com for emergency battery questions.
UL924 Sequence of Operation (nLight AIR EM)
EM devices maintain high-end trim and ignore wireless commands unless a normal-power-sensed (NPS) broadcast is received every 8 seconds. Association with a group including a normal power sensing device via CLAIRITY+ app is required for NPS broadcasts. Compatible devices include rPP20, rLSXR, rSBOR, rSDGR, and nLight AIR luminaires with v3.4+ firmware.
BSE Labeling Options
BSE10: Driver load transfer relay installed per manufacturer instructions.
BSE14: One voltage fixture with driver load control relay and prewire (PWS option).
*RFA modification required for configurations with Reloc or two voltages.
Enabled with STAR (Self-Testing Automated Reporting)
STAR enables self-testing and automated reporting for life safety code compliance (NFPA 101). Test data logged in individual units (Mobile STAR) or via STAR Gateway (Connected STAR). Requirements include: 30-second tests every 30 days, 90-minute tests annually, and record keeping.
