SensorSwitch™ Platform
Offers standalone wired and wireless controls for room-based applications, providing reliable performance and ease of installation.
- Wired: Luminaires connect to wall switches via wiring.
- Wireless: Pairing is done via a tool, allowing fixtures to dim to 10% brightness.
Sensor Options: Various PIR and Dual Technology occupancy sensors with automatic dimming photocells are available, compatible with nLight Wired, nLight AIR, and standalone SensorSwitch systems.
Performance Data
The 2BLT2 offers high performance with excellent lumen output and efficacy.
Lumen Output & Efficacy
Standard configurations provide robust lumen packages, while High Efficiency (HE) versions exceed 130 LPW. For example, a 33L ADP LP835 model delivers 3332 lumens at 124.92 LPW.
Unified Glare Rating (UGR)
UGR values are provided for various configurations, typically starting at 18. These values are based on specific room reflectance and size parameters. Detailed UGR tables are available in the product documentation.

Diagram Descriptions
Sensor Coverage Pattern (Mini 360° Lens)
This diagram illustrates the coverage pattern of the Mini 360° Lens sensor. It is recommended for walking motion detection from mounting heights between 8 ft (2.44 m) and 20 ft (6.10 m). Initial detection of walking motion along sensor axes occurs at distances of 2x the mounting height up to 15 ft (4.57 m) and 1.75x up to 20 ft (6.10 m). It provides 12 ft (3.66 m) radial detection of small motion when mounted at 9 ft (2.74 m). Detection is earlier when walking across the sensor's field of view compared to walking directly towards it.
Sequence of Operation (Sensor Examples)
These diagrams show typical sensor operation. When motion is detected, lights turn ON. After a set time delay (e.g., 2.5 minutes at 1% level), if no motion is detected, lights turn OFF. Automatic dimming photocells adjust light levels based on ambient light, with presets typically at 5fc or 10fc.
nLight & SensorSwitch Control Diagrams
Visual guides illustrate the installation and connection of wired and wireless controls for both nLight and SensorSwitch systems, showing how luminaires connect to wall switches and sensors.
Mobile STAR vs. Connected STAR
The STAR system offers two deployment options: Mobile STAR for small-scale applications, where test data is logged per unit and broadcast to the CLAIRITY+ app; and Connected STAR for large-scale applications, where data is logged via a STAR Gateway by IOTA® and emailed directly.
