Detailed Setup
This keyboard supports connection to up to 3 different devices using the '$1' and '$2' keys to switch between the wireless USB receiver and two Bluetooth channels.
Connecting via Wireless USB Receiver
This connection is plug-and-play. Ensure the keyboard is powered on and the channel is set to the USB receiver channel. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB A port on your device.
Connecting via Bluetooth
1. Turn on the keyboard and select either Bluetooth channel '$1' or '$2'.
2. On your device (PC or iOS):
- PC: Go to Settings > Bluetooth & other devices > Add Bluetooth or other device > Add a device (Bluetooth).
- iOS: Go to Apple menu > System Preferences > Bluetooth. Turn Bluetooth on.
3. Press and HOLD the '$1' or '$2' key on the keyboard to enter discoverable mode. The LED indicator will flash rapidly.
4. Select "heyday keyboard" on your device to connect. The LED will stop flashing and remain lit for 3 seconds upon successful pairing.
Troubleshooting
If the keyboard is not working or pairing:
- Turn the keyboard off and on again. Re-plug the USB receiver if applicable. Ensure the correct channel is selected.
- Press and HOLD the designated pairing key ('$1' or '$2') while keeping the keyboard close to the receiver/device.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
- If previously paired, ensure the device is discoverable and the keyboard is set to the correct Bluetooth channel used for that device.
- Try repeating the pairing process.
Function Keys
The function keys (F1-F12) can be used in two modes: standard mode or by pressing the 'Fn' key in combination with the function key.

Low Battery Indicator
When the LED indicator starts blinking, it signifies that the batteries need to be replaced.
