Compact Design - Performance in Use

The heart of the CS 68 18-EC is its powerful brushless motor, which enables a high cutting speed with a simultaneously long operating time. In combination with the optionally available 8.0 Ah battery (with 21700 cells), the device achieves up to 17% higher cutting speed – ideal for powerful work under load. On a single battery charge, up to 334 cuts can be made into 38 x 89 mm pine wood – perfect for professionals in timber construction, carpenters, and roofers who rely on speed and endurance.

Robust, Lightweight, and Precise

Magnesium protective guards and base plate ensure not only long service life and high stability but also reduce the overall weight of the machine – a noticeable advantage during prolonged overhead use or when working on scaffolding. For straight, splinter-free cuts, such as when laying OSB boards or installing partition walls, the CS 68 18-EC is also compatible with two guide rail systems and offers integrated grooves for angles of 90° and 45°. With a cutting angle of up to 56°, including locking points at 0°, 22.5°, 45°, and 56°, even complex bevel cuts can be made quickly and precisely – a clear advantage for carpenters and joiners. The clamping lever ensures comfortable and secure adjustment.

The parallel fence, included in the scope of delivery, allows for parallel, precise, and repeatable cuts up to 110 mm – this is particularly useful for carpenters and interior fitters when cutting strips, panels, or solid wood boards in series.

Thoughtful Down to the Last Detail

Thanks to the integrated bright LED light, the cutting area is optimally illuminated, which is useful when working in poorly lit rooms or on construction sites with limited visibility. Additional comfort is provided by the rubberized handle, which ensures a secure grip, and the robust rafter hook, which can be used for quick and safe storage of the tool – for example, when working on ladders or roof surfaces.

Greater Safety and Cleanliness

The integrated spindle stop and the key stored in the base plate also allow for quick and easy saw blade changes, while the switch with a lock-on function ensures additional safety.

For clean work – especially when working indoors – a suction hose (D27/D36 mm) or the supplied dust bag can be directly connected, which effectively removes all generated dust.
