1. Package Contents
Your Hiboy S2 MAX Electric Scooter package includes:
- 3 x Allen Wrench
- 6 x Screws
- Valve Stem Extension
- Battery Charger

2. Product Overview
Handlebar: Used for steering.
Bell: Alerts pedestrians and other riders.
Front Light: Illuminates the path ahead.
Control Panel: Displays information and controls scooter functions.
Throttle: Controls acceleration.
Folding Mechanism: Allows the scooter to be folded for portability.
Motor: Powers the scooter.
Kickstand: Supports the scooter when parked.
Rear Brake Light: Illuminates when the brake is applied.
Disc Brake: Provides stopping power.
Control Panel Functions:
- Power Button: Short press to turn on, long press to turn off.
- Battery Indicator: Five power lights on the control panel indicate the power level.
- Light: Press once to turn on the front light when the scooter is on. The tail light is always on and flashes when the brake is applied.
- Speed Mode: Quick click the power button twice to switch speed modes: 'ECO' (Energy saving, smooth acceleration, for beginners), 'D' (Standard mode), and 'S' (Sport mode, powerful, for skilled riders).
- Temperature Indicator: When the icon lights up, please pull over to cool down the scooter.
- Cruise Control: Press three times to turn on/off cruise control.
App Connectivity: Download the "Hiboy" app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) to connect to your scooter. The app allows control over speed mode, speed unit, locking/unlocking the scooter, and lights.

3. Assembly
- Open the kickstand, lift the stem, and push the folding handle upward until it clicks into place.
- Connect the power cable as indicated by the arrow, then slide the handlebar onto the stem.
- Use the Allen wrench to install the 6 screws, ensuring they are tightened.
- Verify that the scooter powers on and off correctly.

4. First Ride
- Scan the QR code to download the Hiboy App. Follow the registration process within the app. Refer to the "Question and Answer" section or contact support if you encounter issues.
- Turn on the scooter.
- Select the scooter device to connect within the app.
- Once connected, use the app to control speed modes, units, lock/unlock the scooter, and manage lights.

5. Charging
- Open the rubber plug covering the charging port.
- Insert the charging plug into the port.
- After charging, securely close and fix the rubber plug.
The scooter is fully charged when the charger's LED light changes from red (charging) to green. Charging automatically cuts off when full, but long-term charging is not recommended. Do not connect the charger if the charging port is wet. Keep the charging port covered when not in use.

6. Riding Basics
Safety First: Always wear a helmet and safety gear to prevent falls and injuries while learning to ride.
- Turn on the power and check the battery indicator.
- Stand on the deck with one foot and use the other foot to propel the scooter forward.
- Once the scooter starts gliding, place both feet on the deck and press the accelerator. The throttle requires a speed of at least 3.1mph (5km/h) to engage.
- To slow down, release the throttle gradually. For sudden braking, squeeze the brake lever.
- To turn, lean your body slightly in the direction of the turn and steer the handlebar smoothly.

7. Riding Notice
- Do not ride in the rain.
- When riding over speed bumps, elevator sills, bumpy roads, or other uneven surfaces, maintain a medium or low speed (around 5mph). Bend your knees slightly to better absorb the impact of these surfaces.
- Be aware of overhead obstacles such as doors and elevators.
- Do not accelerate when going downhill.

8. Dangerous Actions (No Attempting!)

9. Safety Instructions
Read all safety instructions before operating the scooter.
- Always wear a helmet and protective gear.
- Check the scooter before each ride for loose parts or damage.
- Do not ride in wet conditions or on slippery surfaces.
- Obey all local traffic laws and regulations.
- Do not ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Avoid riding on steep inclines or rough terrain.
- Do not carry passengers.
- Be aware of your surroundings and other pedestrians or vehicles.
- Do not use the throttle while braking.
- Do not attempt stunts or tricks.
10. Folding and Carrying

To fold the scooter: Release the folding lever, lower the stem, and secure it. To carry, use the folded stem as a handle.
11. Daily Care and Maintenance
Cleaning: Clean the scooter with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the charging port is dry before cleaning.
Tires: Check tire pressure regularly and inflate as needed. Inspect tires for wear and tear.
Brakes: Ensure the brakes are functioning correctly. Adjust if necessary.
Battery: Store the battery in a cool, dry place. Avoid extreme temperatures. Charge the battery regularly, even if not in use.
General Inspection: Periodically check all screws and bolts for tightness. Ensure the folding mechanism is secure.
