Aqara Motion Sensor
1. Product Description
1.1. Product Overview
The Aqara motion sensor utilizes infra-red light to detect movement in the environment. It can be used with other smart devices to create a variety of automated settings, for example, turning on lights when the room is occupied or turning off lights when vacant. Installation is tool-less; simply place or stick the sensor in required areas.
Note: The product must be used with Hub compatible devices.
Note: To use this product with HomeKit, an Aqara Hub is required. For more information, please visit www.aqara.com.

The product is presented from three angles: a front view showing the main sensor unit with its lens, a side view illustrating the sensor's profile and potential mounting bracket, and a top view indicating its circular shape.
1.3. Product Selling Point
This sensor is capable of detecting human movements in an environment. Through communication between smart devices, smart settings, such as automated night lights, can be implemented. It includes a sensor holder with 360° rotation and a 90° adjustable sensing angle. No complicated wiring is required; simply place the product where needed.

3.2. Installation Instructions
Method 1: Directly place in sensing area.
Method 2: Remove the protective film from the tab (round adhesive tab included) and stick the device on a surface in sensing area.
Method 3: Stick the sensor on the holder then stick the holder on a surface in sensing area.
Note: To ensure stable connections, please avoid placing the sensor on metallic surfaces.
3.3. Instruction Manual
Open the Aqara Home app and select the "+" icon in the upper right corner of the main page. Enter the add accessory page and select the Motion Sensor, then follow the on-screen instructions.
Note: If addition fails, move the Hub closer to the product and try again.
Effective distance verification: Press the device reset button. The Hub should play a notification sound to indicate if the devices are able to communicate effectively.
Searching for device: Open the app and navigate to the “device list (accessories)" page. Press the device reset button. The Hub will play a notification sound while the corresponding device icon will flash in the app.
Note: Only the Aqara Home app supports this function.
