Quick Setup: Follow the Aqara Hub's quick start guide to add the hub to your app. Then, within the app, navigate to 'Home', tap '+', select 'Motion Sensor', and follow the on-screen instructions for pairing. If connection fails, try moving the sensor closer to the hub.

Installation Guidance

Effective Range Test: After placing the sensor at the desired location, press the reset button. If the hub provides voice confirmation, the sensor is communicating effectively. For optimal signal strength, avoid mounting on metal surfaces.

Placement Options:

• Option 1: Simply place the sensor where needed.
• Option 2: Remove the protective film from the adhesive sticker and attach it to the desired position.
• Option 3: Attach the sensor to its stand, then mount the stand to the surface.

Ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry. The recommended installation height is between 1.2m and 2.1m to ensure optimal detection coverage and minimize blind spots. The sensor offers a 170° detection angle.
