SKANSNÄS Extendable Table
General Assembly Information
This guide provides instructions for assembling the SKANSNÄS extendable table. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning.
Tools Required: Phillips head screwdriver, flat-head screwdriver. [screwdriver icon]

Assembly Steps
Step 1: Prepare Table Top
Place the two table top halves on your protected work surface. Insert and lock the connecting mechanisms between the halves. The diagram shows two halves being joined, with a visual indicator of locking action and a 'Click!' sound. [unlock icon] to [lock icon] 'Click!'
Step 2: Attach Leg Support Brackets
Attach leg support brackets [10098230] to the underside of the table top halves using medium screws [109021]. The diagram shows 4 screws per bracket. [4x medium screws]
Step 3: Attach Crossbars
Connect the crossbars to the leg support brackets using medium dowels [146899] and medium screws [109021]. The diagram shows two crossbars being attached. [2x medium dowels, 4x medium screws]
Step 4: Attach Leg Assembly Frames
Attach the leg assembly frames to the crossbars using long screws [154409]. The diagram shows the frames being positioned and secured. [4x long screws]
Step 5: Secure Frame
Secure the frame assembly further using long screws [154409]. The diagram shows 3 screws being inserted. [3x long screws]
Step 6: Add More Frame Components
Attach additional frame components and secure them with small screws [108442]. The diagram shows 12 screws being used. [12x small screws]
Step 7: Final Frame Tightening
Ensure all frame connections are tight by inserting and tightening long screws [154409]. The diagram shows 18 screws being used. [18x long screws]
Step 8: Attach Legs to Brackets
Attach the legs [107271] to the leg support brackets. Use medium screws [110912] and washers [100038] for this step. The diagram shows 4 screws and 4 washers per leg. [4x medium screws, 4x washers]
Step 9: Connect Leg Assemblies
Connect the leg assemblies to the main frame using leg frame brackets [107271], bolts [120202], nuts [100712], and washers [100843]. The diagram shows 4 sets of these components. [4x leg frame brackets, 4x bolts, 4x nuts, 4x washers]
Step 10: Secure Leg Assemblies
Secure the leg assemblies by inserting and tightening screws [107271]. The diagram shows 4 screws being used. [4x screws]
Step 11: Attach Extension Mechanisms
Attach the extension leaf sliding mechanisms [110527] to the frame. The diagram shows 2 mechanisms being attached. [2x sliding mechanisms]
Step 12: Connect Table Halves with Extensions

Step 13: Secure Extension Mechanisms
Secure the extension mechanisms with medium screws [109021] and medium dowels [146899]. The diagram shows 12 medium screws and 4 medium dowels. [12x medium screws, 4x medium dowels]
Step 14: Assemble Extension Leaves
Assemble the extension leaves by joining their parts using small dowels [101343] and small screws [101343]. The diagram shows 4 dowels and 4 screws per leaf assembly. [4x small dowels, 4x small screws]
Step 15: Attach Extension Leaf Supports
Attach the extension leaf support brackets [116792] to the frame using small screws [108442]. The diagram shows 4 support brackets and 4 screws. [4x extension leaf support brackets, 4x small screws]
Step 16: Insert Extension Leaves
Carefully insert the assembled extension leaves into the table frame, guiding them onto the support brackets. [arrow icon]
Step 17: Secure Extension Leaves
Secure the extension leaves in place by inserting medium screws [109021] and medium dowels [146899] into the designated holes. The diagram shows 4 of each per leaf. [4x medium screws, 4x medium dowels]
Step 18: Attach Handles
Attach the handles [10098230] to the extension leaves using medium screws [109021] and medium dowels [146899]. The diagram shows 2 handles, each secured with 2 screws and 2 dowels. [2x handles, 4x medium screws, 4x medium dowels]
Step 19: Extend the Table
To extend the table, gently pull the table top halves apart, allowing the extension leaves to slide out. [arrow icon]
Step 20: Lock Extended Position
