Read Before Use
- For audio to play via CarPlay/Android Auto, ensure OEM system is in "Aux" mode and phone is connected to new Bluetooth network only.
- Long hold Menu button on mouse (12-15RX) or voice hangup button on steering wheel (09-11 RX) (3 seconds) to switch between Hamilton interface and original interface.
- Disconnect battery before starting installation. Full install video available on Hamilton YouTube channel.
Wiring Diagram Overview
This diagram illustrates the wiring connections for the Hamilton Motor Company mouse interface installation in 2012-2014 Lexus ES models.
Main System Connections:
- OEM GVIF Wire: 3.001.108
- 4G (Optional)
- GPS
- 12MOL AHD USB: 3.001.097
- 360-Ctl: Connect only if the car has a 360 camera.
- OBD CAN
Interface Module Connections:
- SIM: Optional 4G
- USB: For wired CarPlay
- AV-IN
- CAMERA
- MIC
- Not used indicators are present for some connections.
Monitor and Audio Connections:
- ES Low Monitor
- RX-ES High Monitor
- RX Low Monitor
- AUX jack
- Reverse signal input.
- Speaker output.
Vehicle Specific Connections:
- Connections labeled for 14RX or 12ES, 09RX SW (Not Used), 12ES (Not Used), 14RX-ES SW, 14RX Side Cam.
- 14RX-ES Mouse: For 12-15 RX models with a mouse, connects physically under the mouse.
Power and OBD Connection:
- 09-14 RX/ES Mon Power: 3.001.109. For 2012-2014 ES Mouse, connect this OBD2 connector from the factory OBD2 port to the main Hamilton harness.
Operation Notes:
To swap between the OEM and Hamilton OS, long-press the MENU button on the mouse (12-15RX) or the voice hangup button on the steering wheel (09-11 RX) for 3 seconds.
