Anolis Calumma M/L/XL SC and MC Installation Instructions

General Safety Information

Warning: Fixture must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with all national and local electrical and construction codes and regulations. This device falls under class one and must be grounded!

Step 1: Calumma Installation Using Yoke

Description: This section details how to mount the Calumma fixture using its yoke.

1. Drilling Holes: Drill two holes into the mounting surface according to the provided dimensions (Calumma M/L/XL). The diagram shows a surface with two holes marked for drilling, with dimensions indicated for hole spacing (30/40/60mm) and hole diameter (Ø13mm).

2. Fastening the Yoke: Fasten the yoke of the fixture to the surface using two washers, spring washers, and screws.

3. Adjusting Tilt Lock: Use an Allen key to release the tilting lock on each side of the luminaire and adjust the tilt of the LED module in the range of +180°/-180°.

Step 2: Cable Gland Installation

Description: This step covers the proper installation of the cable gland.

1. Cable Insertion: Slip the cable through the gland according to the picture below and do not assemble the gland yet. Use wrench size 22 for cable gland M20x1.5.

Step 3: Connection - CE (Junction Box is not part of the package)

A. DALI Connection

Step 4: Cable Gland Installation (Continued)

Description: This step provides further details on cable gland installation, including recommended sealants.

1. Assembly: Assemble the cable gland according to the picture. Use wrench size 22 for cable gland M20x1.5. Install cable glands individually.

   Recommendation: Apply an adequate layer of LOCTITE 5331 paste on the plastic holder and LOCTITE 577 paste on the thread of the gland body before insertion.

   Warning: Failure to properly install cable glands will result in failure of the water-tight seal!

Step 5: Installation of Accessories

Accessories Available:

• Half Tophat
• Tophat
• Optical Demo Set

1. Remove Cover Plate: Screw out 4 screws from the cover plate.

   Visual Description: A diagram shows the fixture with screws being removed from the cover plate.

2. Remove Cover Plate: Remove the cover plate.

   Visual Description: A diagram shows the cover plate being removed from the fixture.

3. Place Accessories: Place the accessories (Tophat, Half Tophat, Optical Demo Set) onto the luminaire and center it.

4. Fasten Accessories: Fasten the accessories (Tophat, Half Tophat, Optical Demo Set) to the luminaire by the 4 packed-in washers and screws.

5. Only for Optical Demo Set

1. Slide Optical Foil: Slide the Optical foil into the space of the Optical Demo Set.

2. Place Luminaire on Floor Stand: Place the luminaire on the tenon on the Floor Stand.

   Visual Description: A diagram shows the luminaire being placed on a floor stand.

3. Fasten Luminaire: The Luminaire is fastened by one washer, one flexible washer, and one nut.

Pole Adaptor

Description: Instructions for mounting the luminaire using a Pole Adaptor.

Installation on Flat Pole:

Visual Description: Diagrams show the installation of the Pole Adaptor on a flat pole with two screws.

Installation on Pole (diameter 76-116mm):

Visual Description: Diagrams show the installation of the Pole Adaptor on a pole using suitable stainless steel mounting bands (maximum width 20mm, not included).

1. Drill Holes: Drill three holes into the surface according to the given dimensions (A1/B1: 50mm spacing, 60mm spacing, Ø20mm hole). Drill one hole into the surface according to the given dimension (C1: Ø20mm hole).

   Visual Description: Diagrams show the drilling patterns for pole mounting.

2. Insert Cable Gland: Insert the cable gland into the middle hole (A2/B2) or the hole (C2).

   Visual Description: Diagrams show cable glands being inserted into prepared holes.

3. Pole Adaptor Installation: Pole Adaptor must be installed with two holes up (A3/B3/C3). Fasten the Pole Adaptor on the surface by two screws, spring washers, and washers (A3/B3). Install Pole Adaptor with two suitable stainless steel mounting bands (C3).

   Visual Description: Diagrams illustrate the correct orientation and fastening of the Pole Adaptor.

4. Fasten Luminaire: Fasten the Luminaire on the Pole Adaptor by three screws, spring washers, and washers (A4/B4/C4).

   Visual Description: Diagrams show the luminaire being attached to the Pole Adaptor.

For All Installation Versions: Pull the cable through the inside of the Pole Adaptor and the cable gland and return to STEP 3.

Outdoor Foil Holder only for Calumma OFH

Description: Instructions for installing the Outdoor Foil Holder.

1. Remove Cover Sheet: Remove the cover sheet from the Calumma fixture.

2. Assemble Holder: Assemble the Outdoor Foil Holder according to the picture. This involves placing the optical foil, sealing, holder, and cover sheet, secured by 8x Screw M3x12 and 8x Washer.

   Visual Description: An exploded view diagram shows the components of the Outdoor Foil Holder and how they are assembled onto the Calumma fixture.

Land Spike

Description: Instructions for mounting the luminaire using a Land Spike.

DMX Connection Termination

Description: Important notes regarding DMX connection termination.

• Note: DMX line of Calummas M/L/XL has to be terminated at the last fixture.
• Method 1: Connect a 120 Ohm resistor between terminals + and - in the junction box at the last fixture.
• Method 2: Terminate via RDM. Set the 'Manufacturer PID' 'Terminator active' to '1' at the last fixture using the RDM Control Panel.

Warning: Ensure ONLY the last fixture in the line is terminated using ONE of the above methods! If connected to E-box Star, the last fixture on each line needs to be terminated.

Step E: Power ON/OFF
