Two Power Supply Methods
1. Insert 4*AA 1.5V Alkaline Batteries
Instructions:
- Remove the battery cover from the back of the pump.
- Insert 4 brand new AA (1.5V) alkaline batteries (not included) observing the marked "-" and "+" direction.
- Firmly reinstall the battery cover back into the pump.
Note:
- Firmly restore the battery cover to ensure water resistance.
- When the unit is idle, please remove the batteries and store them properly.
- Used batteries must be removed from the pump.
- Do not dispose of batteries in a fire, as this may cause them to explode or leak.
2. Plug in the USB Cable
Instructions:
- Plug in the USB cable (included).
- When the power is on, the [USB Connected Indicator] indicator will light up.
Note:
- It is recommended to use a USB power supply when a power source is available. This ensures the water pump operates on a stable voltage, thus improving its efficiency.
- When both power modes are used simultaneously, priority will be given to the USB cable power. If the USB cable is disconnected, the pump will switch to battery-powered mode.
Product Installation
1. Determine the Correct Placement
The lift length of the water pump: the vertical distance of 2-3m. Because the water pipe cannot be placed 100% straight, it is recommended that the height between the plants and the pump should not exceed 2.5m.
2. Installation Diagram
The installation diagram shows the setup of the system. Key components are:
- ① USB Cable
- ② Pump Timer
- ③ Detachable Hook
- ④ Tubing
- ⑤ Filter
- ⑥ Anti-siphon device
- ⑦ Switch Valve
- ⑧ T Barb Connector
- ⑨ Straight Connector
- ⑩ Cross Connector
- ⑪ Micro Dripper
- ⑫ Tubing End Caps
3. Connect the Hose Correctly
Follow these steps to connect the hoses:
- Design your watering route and cut the hose to the required length.
- To ease connection, put the head of the hose in hot water for 10 seconds or apply a little veggie oil to the hose end before connecting.
- Connect the hose to the water inlet and outlet.
- Install an anti-siphon device near the pump outlet to prevent water from flowing back into the pump after the pump timer is turned off.
- Insert the other end of the hose with the filter into the water pump inlet, and then place it into the water container.
- Choose the appropriate connector as needed:
- For direct connection to the water source or main pipeline, use a straight connector.
- To split the hose into two branches, use a T-shaped connector.
- To divide the hose into three additional branches, use a cross connector.
- Install the switch valve in front of the micro dripper. This allows adjustment or shut-off of water flow to each dripper by rotating the valve.
- Connect the drippers to the pipeline. These will directly deliver water to the root zone of each plant. Tips: Loosen the soil first, then insert the drippers at least 3 inches deep into the soil to help water reach the plant roots.
- Install tubing end caps after water flows out from the end of the pipe. This prevents air in the pipe and ensures smooth water flow to the end.
4. Installation Completed and Tested
Testing Steps:
- Press and hold the "OK" button to start the pump. Water will be pumped to your plants.
- Check for any leaks at the hose connections. If leaks are found, ensure connections are tightened properly. Continue tightening until there are no leaks.
- After testing with no usage problems, proceed to programming the watering schedule.

Troubleshooting
Problem | Possible Cause | Possible Solution |
---|---|---|
Uneven water flow | Too far away from pots and water containers or too long pipes can reduce the pump's pumping efficiency. | The further away the potted plant is from the pump, the weaker the water flow will become. Use clamps to hold the first few branches so that the mainstream water is delivered quickly and for a long time. |
Hard to insert and remove water pipes | Because of the material used to make the pipe more durable. | Put the head of the hose in hot water for 10s or apply a little veggie oil to the hose end before connecting. |
Watering schedule not on time | The lack of water at the inlet resulted in the plan not being implemented on time. | Check if there is a lack of water in the container at the inlet. (If there is a leakage, the schedule will not run). |
The water pump unexpectedly lost power and the plan was emptied. | The watering schedule needs to be reset. |
