Warm Tips
- Do not use the water timer when the temperature is below 37°F (3°C). Store the timer indoors to avoid potential freezing damage.
- The filter traps dirt particles. Clean the filter regularly and replace it if worn.
- For a longer lifespan, use 2 new AAA alkaline batteries (not included). Do not mix new and old alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
- Activate the water timer before first use or after a period of inactivity (Refer to page 6: ACTIVATE THE TIMER BEFORE USE).
- Only use with clean cold water.
Product Overview
The RainPoint ITV105 is an automatic water timer designed for efficient garden watering.
Timer Components:
- FILTER: Located at the water inlet.
- HOSE TAP CONNECTION: Connects to the water faucet.
- BIG LCD SCREEN: Displays time, settings, and status.
- OUTLET: Connects to the garden hose.
- DIAL: Used to navigate through settings and select options.
- OK/MANUAL BUTTON: Confirms selections and activates manual watering.
- DELAY/+ BUTTON: Adjusts time settings and activates Rain Delay.
- - BUTTON: Adjusts time settings.
Dial Positions and Functions
SET CLOCK: Set the current time (US defaults to 12-hour clock).
START TIME: Select what time you would like to start watering.
HOW LONG: Determine how long to water (water duration).
HOW OFTEN: Choose how often you will water (water frequency).
ON: Timer runs according to your customized schedule.
OFF: Turn off all watering.

Product Installation
Installing the Batteries
- Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the timer.
- Insert 2 new AAA (1.5V) alkaline batteries (not included).
- Put the battery compartment cover back on the timer and press firmly to make sure it is completely sealed.
Note: Install the battery tray cover securely after installing the battery to ensure waterproofing. When the timer is not used for a long time, remove the batteries and dispose of them properly. Replace batteries when the low battery indicator ?⬇️ appears on display. Do not dispose of batteries in fire. To ensure a longer lifespan, use 2 new AAA alkaline batteries and do not mix new and old alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
Installing the Timer
- Turn off the garden faucet.
- Wrap Teflon Tape around the faucet threads.
- Screw the timer to the garden faucet and make the display as vertical as possible to the ground to prevent rainwater from accumulating and leaking into the interior.
- Wrap Teflon Tape around the threads of the timer outlet.
- Screw the garden hose to the timer outlet.
- Turn on the faucet after programming the timer.
Tips: If the connection between the timer and the faucet or hose is not tight or leaking, wrap more Teflon Tape to make them tight.
Note: Do not use tools; install the timer by hand. When expecting freezing temperatures, timers should be removed from the hose faucet and stored indoors to avoid potential freeze damage. Please install the filter properly and keep it clean.
Operating Your Timer
Activating the Timer Before Use
⚠️ Please activate the device before using it for the first time or after a period of inactivity.
Activation steps:
- Keep the garden faucet turned off.
- Turn the timer dial to "ON".
- Press and hold the "MANUAL" button for 3-5 seconds to enter Manual Watering Mode.
- When the screen flashes, press the "OK" button to run manual watering.
- After hearing the "click" sound or waiting for about 5 seconds, the valve in the timer opens. Turn the dial to "OFF" to close the valve.
- Repeat steps 2-5 for 3-5 times.
- Test: Turn on the faucet a little bit, and then repeat steps 2-5 to check if the water flow out or shut off as expected.
If the timer valve is normal, use it with confidence! If not, repeat the steps or contact RainPoint support.
Note: When testing, keep away from the water timer outlet to avoid being splashed and wet.
Programming Your Timer
Step 1: Set Clock
1. Turn the dial to "SET CLOCK".
2. Use "+" or "-" buttons to select 24-hour or 12-hour format and press "OK" to confirm.
3. Use the "OK" button to confirm and switch between hours or minutes.
4. Turn the dial clockwise to save changes and go to the next step.
Tip: When finished, turn the dial to save changes instead of pressing "OK". Pressing "OK" after setting will return to the previous setting.
Step 2: Start Time
1. Turn the dial to "START TIME".
2. Use "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired start time, including AM and PM.
3. Use the "OK" button to switch between hours or minutes.
4. Turn the dial clockwise to save changes and go to the next step.
Tip: When finished, turn the dial to save changes instead of pressing "OK". Pressing "OK" after setting will return to the previous setting.
Step 3: How Long
1. Turn the dial to "HOW LONG".
2. Use "+" and "-" buttons to select watering duration from 1 minute to 3 hours 59 minutes.
3. Use the "OK" button to switch between hours or minutes.
4. Turn the dial clockwise to save changes and go to the next step.
Tip: When finished, turn the dial to save changes instead of pressing "OK". Pressing "OK" after setting will return to the previous setting.
Step 4: How Often
1. Turn the dial to "HOW OFTEN".
2. Use "+" and "-" buttons to set watering frequency (every 1 to 12 hours, or every 1 to 7 days).
3. Turn the dial clockwise to save changes and go to the next step.
Examples of watering frequency:
Every 1 Day: Watering scheduled daily.
Every 2 Days: Watering scheduled every other day.
Every 3 Days: Watering scheduled every third day.
Tip: When finished, turn the dial to save changes instead of pressing "OK". Pressing "OK" after setting will return to the previous setting.
Step 5: Automatic Watering
1. Turn the dial to "ON".
2. The LCD screen will display the current time and the next time to start watering.
Congratulations! Your timer has been programmed successfully. It will start watering automatically based on your programmed start time, duration, and frequency. Keep the faucet turned on and trust the timer.
Additional Functions
Rain Delay
Rain delay allows you to postpone watering for a set period without interrupting your original schedule.
To access Rain Delay:
- With the dial on "ON", press "DELAY" button for 3-5 seconds.
- The screen will show a delay period, defaulting to "24H". Press "+" or "-" to choose 24H, 48H, or 72H.
- Press "OK" to activate the delay function. All watering plans will be skipped during this period.
- To remove rain delay, hold the "DELAY" button for 3-5 seconds again to resume your programmed watering schedule.
Note: Press "OK" after selecting the delay time to start the rain delay program. Otherwise, the setting will exit automatically.
Manual / Hand Watering
This function allows manual watering without interrupting your set schedule.
To access Manual Watering:
- Turn the dial to "ON".
- Press and hold the "MANUAL" button for 3-5 seconds.
- Press "+" or "-" to adjust manual watering time from 1 minute to 8 hours (default is 10 minutes).
- After setting the time, press "OK" to start manual watering. A watering symbol ? will be displayed.
- To stop manual watering, hold "MANUAL" for 3-5 seconds to exit and restore the original program. Alternatively, turn the dial to "OFF" and then back to "ON" to restore the program.
Note: Press "OK" after setting the manual watering time to start. Otherwise, the setting will exit automatically.
Off Mode
1. To stop watering for an extended period, turn the dial to "OFF". Your settings are saved.
2. The timer will not water automatically in OFF mode (screen displays "OFF").
3. To resume automatic watering, turn the dial back to "ON".
Battery Status
The battery status is displayed as:
- ? Full
- ?⬇️ Low Power
Note: When the low battery indicator ?⬇️ appears, the valve will close automatically to avoid leakage. Replace batteries promptly to ensure normal operation.
Cleaning Your Timer
After a period of use, impurities or dirt may accumulate in the timer. Clean it regularly for proper operation.
Cleaning steps:
- Turn off the garden faucet and remove the timer. Check the filter at the water inlet for accumulated impurities.
- If the filter is dirty, remove and rinse it with running water.
- Turn on Manual Watering Mode to open the valve and check if the water pipe is blocked. If blocked, clean gently with a small brush.
Troubleshooting

Warnings
- For outdoor use only. Placing the timer in sheltered outdoors prolongs its lifetime.
- To avoid damage, tighten by hand, do not use tools.
- The filter should be placed horizontally in the water inlet to prevent leakage.
- When low power, replace batteries to avoid interruption. Ensure the battery tray is dry when replacing batteries.
- When the timer is not in use, remove batteries and store indoors.
- Do not use the timer above 120°F (50°C) or below 38°F (3°C).
- Do not subject the product to extreme force and shock.
- Severe electrical shock could result if water sprays into outlets or electrical current sources. Never immerse the product in water.
