Setup and Configuration
Web Client - Binding & Settings
- Add Device: Ensure the NAS device and computer are on the same local area network (LAN), then visit the URL: find.ugnas.com. The system will automatically search for devices in your current LAN. Select the device you want to add and click "Connect".
- Initialize the Device: After adding the device, you will enter the initialization settings interface. Name the device to ensure it's easy to identify and manage. Create a local administrator account. Optionally, register and bind a UGREEN Cloud account for additional functions like UGREENlink and Quick Login. After completing these operations, check the "System Update" option (required) and the "Device Analysis Improvement Plan" option (not required) to start using the device. Note: If the device does not undergo the initialization process, its status will be displayed as "Not Initialized".
- Set up Storage Mode: Enter "UGREEN NAS" > "Storage Manager" to set up storage mode and configure storage space.
Phones/Tablets & Other Devices - Binding & Settings
- Application Download: Scan the QR code below or the QR code on the device using your phone to install the "UGREEN NAS" app. Alternatively, visit UGREEN's official website (https://nas.ugreen.com/download) to download and install the corresponding application.
- Binding & Settings: Follow the same steps as "Web Client - Binding & Settings" (Add Device, Initialize Device, Set up Storage Mode). You can also add a device by scanning the QR code on the bottom of the device.
Network Configuration Options (Choose One)
- Wired Connection (Recommended): Use an Ethernet cable to connect the NAS to a LAN port on a router.
- Wi-Fi Connection: Ensure the NAS is connected to the wired network and has been bound to your device. Log in to the "UGREEN NAS" App > "Control Panel" > "Network Setting" > click "Wireless Network Card Name" to enter the network connection page. Select the desired wireless network, enter the password, check "Remember This Network" and "Auto-join" for automatic connection. Click "OK" to complete. Note: The NAS system will give priority to the wired network when the device connects to wired and wireless networks simultaneously.
Device Sharing
Option 1 (Same Network): The administrator logs in to "UGREEN NAS" > "Control Panel" > "User Management" > "Add" to create a new user account and provides the account and password to the invited user. The invited user logs in to "UGREEN NAS", searches for the device via the LAN, and enters the account password to bind the device.
Option 2 (Different Network): The administrator enables the UGREENlink online service, logs in to "UGREEN NAS" > "Control Panel" > "User Management" > "Invite" to enable invitation settings, and copies the invitation link to the invited users. Invited users open the link, enter account information, and can then apply to access the device. Note: UGREENlink online service is an external network access service provided by "UGREEN NAS", allowing access without complicated network settings.
Reset Network & Password
With the NAS device powered on, use a pin-like object to insert and hold the "RESET" hole for 5 seconds until you hear a beep. The device will not restart during the reset process. After completion, the solid white network indicators will turn on, indicating the device is ready. Please note that the reset will not affect stored data. After successful resetting, you can log in with the "admin" account and a blank password (used for password resets only). Follow the on-screen wizard to configure your administrator password.

- If the battery has been accidentally swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, it may cause severe internal burns or other hazards. Call a local poison control center for treatment information.
- This product contains a non-replaceable battery of the type CR2032 (3.0 Vdc).
- Non-rechargeable battery is not to be recharged.
- Do not force discharge, recharge, disassemble, heat above 85°C or incinerate. Doing so may result in injury due to venting, leakage or explosion resulting in chemical burns.

- This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin or button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
- Example information on symptoms from battery ingestion: Unfortunately, it is not obvious when a button or coin battery is stuck in a child's oesophagus (food pipe). There are no specific symptoms associated with this. The child might: cough, gag or drool a lot; appear to have a stomach upset or a virus; be sick; point to their throat or stomach; have a pain in their abdomen, chest or throat; be tired or lethargic; be quieter or more clingy than usual or otherwise "not themselves"; lose their appetite or have a reduced appetite; and not want to eat solid food/be unable to eat solid food. These sorts of symptoms vary or fluctuate, with the pain increasing and then subsiding. A specific symptom to button and coin battery ingestion is vomiting fresh (bright red) blood. If the child does this seek immediate medical help. The lack of clear symptoms is why it is important to be vigilant with "flat" or spare button or coin batteries in the home and the products that contain them.
