About DXP4800
The UGREEN DXP4800 is a network-attached storage device designed for home and personal users. It functions as an intelligent data management center, allowing users to store and access data from smartphones, laptops, tablets, and TVs via network access.
Before Use
- For optimal data transmission efficiency, connect the NAS using the included Ethernet cable (CAT7 or higher) to a router or network switch with Gigabit LAN ports or higher.
- It is recommended to use new hard drives. Installing drives will format them, erasing all existing data. Ensure important data is backed up before installation.
- Use only the genuine power adapter or a safety-certified adapter that meets the device's power specifications.
- Do not insert or remove hard drives while the NAS is powered on. Use the app to power off the device first to prevent data loss, corruption, or drive damage.
- Update firmware only when stable power is supplied. Do not turn off power during the update process.
- Unbinding the device will erase all data. Ensure data is backed up before unbinding.

- Prepare Tray: Turn the tray over. Pull the clamp arm by pressing the "Press" icon.
- Mount Drive: Place the hard drive into the tray, ensuring the drive's pins align with the tray's fixed posts and screw holes. The drive's pins should face downwards.
- Secure Drive: Lock the hard drive by pushing the clamp arm back to its original position.
- Insert Tray: Insert the filled drive tray into an empty drive bay and secure it.
2.5-inch Hard Drive Installation (Screwdriver Required)
- Adjust Pins: Remove the end fixed pin from the hard drive tray using the tray key and attach it to the fixed hole near the tray cover. (If switching back to a 3.5-inch drive, the pin can be moved back to the end).
- Mount Drive: Place the drive onto the tray, aligning its four screw holes with the tray. The drive's pins should face downwards.
- Secure Drive: Turn the tray over and use the included screws to fix the drive in place.
- Insert Tray: Insert the filled drive tray into an empty drive bay and secure it.
M.2 Drive Installation (Optional)
