For your safety and correct usage, read this user manual carefully, including its hints and warnings, before installing and first using the appliance. Ensure all users are familiar with its operation and safety features to avoid unnecessary mistakes and accidents. Save these instructions with the appliance for future reference. The manufacturer is not responsible for damages caused by omission of these instructions.
Safety for Children and Vulnerable People
According to EN standard: This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning safe use and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be made by children without supervision.
According to IEC standard: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use by a person responsible for their safety.
Keep all packaging away from children as there is a risk of suffocation. If discarding the appliance, pull the plug, cut the connection cable close to the appliance, and remove the door to prevent children from suffering electric shock or becoming trapped inside.
General Safety

⚠️ WARNING: If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.

⚠️ WARNING: Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate defrosting, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.

⚠️ WARNING: Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments unless recommended by the manufacturer.
⚠️ WARNING: The refrigerant and insulation blowing gas are flammable. Dispose of the appliance only at an authorized waste disposal centre. Do not expose to flame.
⚠️ WARNING: Ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged during positioning.
⚠️ WARNING: Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets or portable power supplies at the rear of the appliance.
Replacing Illuminating Lamps
⚠️ WARNING: The illuminating lamps must not be replaced by the user. If damaged, contact customer support.
Refrigerant
The appliance contains isobutene (R600a), a natural, environmentally compatible, yet flammable refrigerant. Ensure the refrigerant circuit is not damaged during transport and installation. The refrigerant (R600a) is flammable.
⚠️ WARNING: Refrigerators contain refrigerant and gases in the insulation. These must be disposed of professionally as they may cause eye injuries or ignition. Ensure tubing is not damaged prior to disposal.
⚠️ WARNING: Risk of fire with flammable materials. If the refrigerant circuit is damaged, avoid open flames and sources of ignition, and thoroughly ventilate the room.
Electrical Safety
- The power cord must not be lengthened.
- Ensure the power plug is not crushed or damaged, as this may overheat and cause a fire.
- Ensure you can access the main plug.
- Do not pull the main cable.
- If the power plug socket is loose, do not insert the plug due to risk of electric shock or fire.
- Do not operate the appliance without the interior lighting lamp cover.
- The fridge operates on 220~240V/50Hz single-phase AC. If voltage fluctuates significantly, use an A.C. Automatic voltage regulator (over 350W). Use a dedicated power socket with a ground wire, not shared with other appliances.
Daily Use
- Do not store flammable gases or liquids in the appliance due to explosion risk.
- Do not operate electrical appliances (e.g., ice cream makers, mixers) inside the appliance.
- Always unplug by pulling the plug from the socket, not the cable.
- Do not place hot items near plastic components.
- Do not place food products directly against the air outlet on the rear wall.
- Store pre-packed frozen food according to manufacturer instructions. Adhere to the appliance manufacturer's storage recommendations.
- Do not place carbonated or fizzy drinks in the freezer compartment, as pressure build-up may cause them to explode.
- Frozen food can cause frost burns if consumed immediately from the freezer.
- Do not place the appliance in direct sunlight.
- Keep naked flames (candles, lamps) away from the appliance to prevent fire.
- The appliance is intended for keeping food and/or beverages in normal household use.
- The appliance is heavy; take care when moving it.
- Do not remove or touch items from the freezer compartment with damp/wet hands, as this can cause skin abrasions or frost/freezer burns.
- Never use the base, drawers, or doors to stand on or as supports.
- Frozen food must not be refrozen once thawed.
- Do not consume ice popsicles or ice cubes straight from the freezer to avoid mouth and lip burns.
- To prevent items falling and causing injury or damage, do not overload door racks or crisper drawers.
Care and Cleaning
Before maintenance, switch off the appliance and disconnect the mains plug. Do not use metal objects, steam cleaners, ethereal oils, organic solvents, or abrasive cleansers. Do not use sharp objects to remove frost; use a plastic scraper.
Installation
Important! Follow instructions carefully for electrical connection. Unpack and check for damage; do not connect if damaged. Report any damages immediately to the place of purchase and retain packaging.
It is advisable to wait at least four hours after moving the appliance before connecting it to allow the compressor oil to flow back.
Ensure adequate air circulation around the appliance to prevent overheating. Maintain clearances of 50-70mm on the sides and rear for ventilation. Avoid placing the back of the product too close to a wall to prevent touching warm parts (compressor, condenser) and the risk of fire.
The appliance must not be located close to radiators or cookers. Ensure the mains plug remains accessible after installation.
Service
Any electrical work for servicing must be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person. This product must be serviced by an authorized Service Center using only genuine spare parts.
Note: Children aged from 3 to 8 years are allowed to load and unload refrigerating appliances (EU region only).

Using Your Appliance
Modes
- DRINKS MODE: Designed for rapid cooling of beverages. Cooling performance depends on ambient temperature, quantity of beverages, and compartment contents. If beverages are not cold enough, restart the mode. For internet-connected models, the 'DRINKS' time and start time can be adjusted via the Hisense APP HiSmart. Note: Once 'DRINKS' is activated, the temperature of 'My Fresh Choice' cannot be set until 'DRINKS' is cancelled.
- Holiday Mode: Optimizes energy consumption when the appliance is not frequently accessed.
- POWER Cool/Freeze: Activates rapid cooling or freezing for faster temperature reduction.
Water Dispenser
The water dispenser, located in the refrigerator door, provides chilled water without opening the door. Follow these steps for installation and use:
- To remove the water tank: Hold one bottom side, lift the opposite side until the slot is off the guide, then switch hands and repeat. Hold both sides tightly, lift up, and remove the tank.
- Unscrew the head, then clean the head, lids, and water tank.
- Caution! Drain the water tank before taking it down.
- Pour water slowly to prevent overflow.
Before first use: Clean the water tank and components.
Water dispenser cleaning: Clean water tanks if not used for 48 hours. Flush the water system if water has not been drawn for 5 days.
Helpful Hints and Tips
Store food in appropriate compartments to maintain freshness and prevent contamination. Pack food in bags and liquids in bottles or capped containers.
Cleaning and Care
Regularly clean surfaces that come into contact with food and accessible drainage systems.
Defrosting
The appliance may feature automatic defrosting. Refer to specific sections for manual defrosting if applicable.
Troubleshooting

Disposal of the Appliance
Dispose of the appliance at an authorized waste disposal centre. Ensure refrigerant and insulation gases are handled professionally.
Food Storage Recommendations
To avoid contamination of food, please respect the following instructions:
- Opening the door for long periods can cause a significant temperature increase.
- Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact with food and accessible drainage systems.
- Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers to prevent contact with or dripping onto other food.

Note: Please store different foods according to the compartments or target storage temperatures of your purchased products.
If the refrigerating appliance is left empty for long periods, switch it off, defrost, clean, dry, and leave the door open to prevent mould developing within the appliance.
