The D-Link DEM-432XT is a 10GBase-LR Single-Mode SFP+ transceiver designed for network connectivity over distances up to 10 kilometers. This guide provides essential information for its installation and operation.
Connecting the Transceiver
Plug the DEM-432XT transceiver into the SFP+ port of your switch. Connect a fiber cable to the DEM-432XT transceiver to link your switch to fiber media.

The DEM-432XT transceiver is hot pluggable. You can connect the transceiver while the system is powered on without causing any issues, and easily plug or unplug the transceiver without interrupting network operation.
Safety Rules and Conditions of Operation
Read this section carefully before installing and connecting the device. Ensure that the device and cables have no mechanical damage. The device must be used only for its intended purpose, in accordance with the quick installation guide.
The device is intended for operation in a dry, clean, dust-free, and well-ventilated room with normal humidity, away from powerful heat sources. Do not use it outdoors or in humid environments. Do not place foreign objects on the device. The ambient temperature in the immediate vicinity of the device and inside its casing should be between 0 and +70 °C.
The power supply must comply with the power supply parameters indicated in the device's technical specifications.
Do not open the device casing! Before cleaning the device of dirt and dust, disconnect the device's power. Remove dust using a damp cloth. Do not use liquid/aerosol cleaners or magnetic/static devices for cleaning. Avoid moisture ingress into the device.
The device's service life is 2 years.
The warranty period is calculated from the moment of purchase of the device from an official dealer in Russia and CIS countries and is one year. Regardless of the sales date, the warranty period cannot exceed 2 years from the product's manufacturing date, which is determined by the 6th (year) and 7th (month) digits of the serial number indicated on the technical data label.
Year Codes: C – 2012, D – 2013, E – 2014, F – 2015, G – 2016, H – 2017, I – 2018, J – 2019, 0 – 2020, 1 – 2021.
Month Codes: 1 – January, 2 – February, ..., 9 – September, A – October, B – November, C – December.
