Assembly Steps
Follow these steps carefully to assemble your Mcombo Stationary Chair.
Step 1: Attach Casters to Base
Description: Take the Chair Base (A) and firmly push each Caster (B) into the sockets at the end of each leg. Ensure they click into place and are securely attached. The diagram would show the base upside down with casters being inserted into the leg ends.
✔️ Tip: Apply firm, even pressure. If a caster is difficult to insert, try wiggling it slightly.
Step 2: Install Gas Lift Cylinder
Description: Place the Chair Base (A) upright. Insert the tapered end of the Gas Lift Cylinder (C) into the central hole of the base. The cylinder should rest securely. The diagram would show the base with the gas lift cylinder being placed into the center hole.
Step 3: Attach Seat Plate Mechanism to Seat
Description: Turn the Seat Cushion Assembly (E) upside down. Align the Seat Plate Mechanism (D) with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat. Use the appropriate bolts and washers from the Hardware Pack (H) to secure the mechanism. The diagram would show the underside of the seat with the mechanism being bolted on.
? Tip: Do not overtighten bolts initially; tighten them fully once all are in place.
Step 4: Attach Armrests
Description: Identify the Left and Right Armrests (G). Align each armrest with the corresponding mounting points on the sides of the Seat Cushion Assembly (E). Secure them using the provided bolts and washers from the Hardware Pack (H). The diagram would show the seat from the side with armrests being attached.
Step 5: Attach Backrest
Description: Align the Backrest Assembly (F) with the mounting bracket located at the rear of the Seat Cushion Assembly (E) or armrests. Secure it using the specified bolts and washers from the Hardware Pack (H). The diagram would show the backrest being connected to the seat assembly.
Step 6: Mount Seat Assembly onto Gas Lift
Description: Carefully lift the assembled seat (including mechanism, armrests, and backrest) and place the central hole of the Seat Plate Mechanism (D) onto the top of the Gas Lift Cylinder (C). Lower the seat assembly onto the cylinder. The weight of the user will secure it. The diagram would show the seat assembly being lowered onto the gas lift.
Step 7: Final Checks
Description: Ensure all bolts are tightened securely. Test the chair's height adjustment and tilt functions. Verify that all parts are stable and correctly assembled. The diagram would show the fully assembled chair with arrows indicating checks.
✔️ Tip: Periodically re-tighten all bolts to maintain stability.
