Assembly Instructions
-
Step 1: Attach Casters to Base
Turn the Base (A) upside down. Insert each Caster (B) firmly into the sockets at the end of each leg of the base. Push until you hear or feel a click, ensuring they are securely seated. A diagram would show the caster stem being pushed into the base socket.
? Ensure all 5 casters are attached.
-
Step 2: Install Gas Lift Cylinder
Turn the Base (A) upright. Place the Gas Lift Cylinder (C) into the center hole of the base. The wider end should be at the bottom. Do not attempt to disassemble the gas lift. A diagram would show the cylinder being placed into the base opening.
-
Step 3: Attach Seat Plate to Seat Cushion
Place the Seat Cushion (E) upside down on a soft surface. Align the Seat Plate (D) with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Ensure the front of the seat plate (often indicated by a lever or arrow) is facing the front of the seat cushion. Secure the seat plate using the appropriate Screws (H) and the Allen Wrench (I). A diagram would show the seat plate aligned with holes and screws being inserted.
? Note the orientation of the seat plate; the lever should be accessible from the side.
-
Step 4: Attach Armrests
Identify the left and right Armrests (G). Align each armrest with the corresponding mounting points on the sides of the Seat Cushion (E). Secure them using the provided Screws (H). A diagram would show an armrest being screwed into the side of the seat cushion.
-
Step 5: Attach Backrest
Align the mounting bracket of the Backrest (F) with the corresponding connection points on the rear of the Seat Cushion (E) or the seat plate assembly. Secure the backrest using the specified Screws (H). A diagram would show the backrest bracket connecting to the seat assembly.
? Some models may require attaching the backrest before the seat plate.
-
Step 6: Connect Seat Assembly to Gas Lift
Carefully lift the assembled seat (including cushion, plate, armrests, and backrest) and align the center hole of the Seat Plate (D) with the top of the Gas Lift Cylinder (C). Lower the seat assembly onto the gas lift. The weight of the user will further secure the connection. A diagram would show the seat assembly being placed onto the gas lift.
-
Step 7: Final Check
Ensure all screws are tightened appropriately (but not overtightened) and all parts are securely connected. Test the chair's stability and the gas lift function by sitting on it and adjusting the height. A diagram would show a person sitting on the chair, testing its function.
