Assembly Steps
The assembly involves connecting various panels and shelves using the provided hardware. Key steps include attaching side panels to the base, inserting shelves, assembling the drawer, and attaching doors.
Step 1-4: Initial Assembly
Attach brackets (G) to the top shelf (1) using screws (H). Attach side panels (3, 5) to the base panel (4) using cam lock screws (A) and cam locks (B). Insert shelves (6, 16) and back panels (9) into the designated slots.
Step 5-8: Drawer Assembly
Assemble the drawer using the drawer front (2), bottom (10), and back (11). Attach drawer slides (14) to the drawer and the cabinet interior. Attach handles (Q) to the drawer front using screws (P).
Step 9-11: Door Attachment
Attach hinges (J) to the doors (7, 8) and then to the side panels. Attach handles (H) to the doors using screws (P).
Step 12-16: Final Assembly and Shelving
Attach side supports (12, 13) using screws (C) and cam locks (B). Insert shelf pins (L) and place adjustable shelves (not explicitly numbered but implied) onto them. Attach the top shelf (1) with brackets (G) to the top of the unit using wall screws (N) and wall brackets (M).
Wall Anchoring Guide
Secure the unit to the wall for stability and safety. Follow the instructions based on your wall type:
Drywall or plaster with available wood stud:
- Mark attachment points on the wall over a wood stud.
- Drill pilot holes matching the screw diameter into the wood stud.
- Secure the unit using screws (D) into the pilot holes.
Drywall without available wood stud:
- Mark attachment points on the wall.
- Drill holes matching the plastic anchor diameter.
- Insert plastic anchors (E) into the holes, using a hammer if needed.
- Secure the unit using screws (D) into the anchors. Do not overtighten.
Masonry:
- Mark attachment points on the wall.
- Drill holes matching the plastic anchor diameter and depth.
- Insert plastic anchors (E) into the holes, using a hammer if needed.
- Secure the unit using screws (D) into the anchors. Do not overtighten.
If the screw cannot be secured to the wall, keep the product away from children. If your wall material is not listed or you have questions, consult your local hardware store.
