2. Preparing Your Omni E28
Follow these steps to set up your device before first use.
2.1 Install the Omni Station
- Add the Floor Cleaner to the Omni Station.
- Assemble the Portable Deep Cleaner onto the Omni Station.
- Install the detachable base by pressing down both sides of it firmly. Ensure it is seamlessly connected to the Omni Station for the robot to return smoothly.
- Place the Omni Station in a location with strong Wi-Fi signal and easy robot access. Recommended placement: against a wall, on a hard, level surface. Connect the power cord. The clean water tank LED ring will light up white when connected to AC power. Maintain recommended clearances (e.g., 1.6 ft / 0.5 m on sides, 3.28 ft / 1 m in front) for optimal operation.
- Take out the clean water tank and add clean water up to the MAX line. Do not use hot water.
- Reinstall the clean water tank, ensuring both clean and dirty water tanks are securely locked for normal station operation.
2.2 Charge Your RoboVac
- Remove foam blocks and protective films from the RoboVac.
- Attach the RoboVac to the Omni Station. It will power on and start charging automatically.
2.3 Download the App
Download the eufy app to access full features:
- Download from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), or scan the QR code on the Quick Start Guide.
- Open the app, create or log into your eufy account.
- Tap the "+" icon to add the device.
- Follow in-app instructions for Wi-Fi setup.
2.4 Reset the Wi-Fi Connection
If you encounter connection issues:
- Press and hold the power and recharge buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds until a voice prompt is heard.
- The RoboVac LED indicators will flash white quickly, indicating the Wi-Fi connection has been reset. Follow app instructions to reconnect.
3. Using Your Omni E28
This section covers the operation of your RoboVac. Note: UI images are for illustration and may change with software updates.
3.1 Important Tips Before Use
3.1.1 For RoboVac
- Remove power cords, small objects (socks, toys, slippers, towels), and fold tasseled rug edges to prevent tangling.
- Avoid cleaning high-pile rugs or rugs thicker than 0.83 in / 21 mm.
- Before mapping, place physical barriers in front of fireplaces or air vents. Set up virtual boundaries in the app for staircases.
- Avoid vacuuming large amounts of water.
- Remove objects less than 0.83 in / 21 mm in height that RoboVac might climb on.
- Anti-drop sensors prevent falls down stairs, but are less effective on dirty, carpeted, or reflective floors. Use physical barriers or "No-Go" zones.
3.1.2 For Portable Deep Cleaner
- Ensure the water tank is filled with clean water. Do not use corrosive or flammable liquids.
- Test on an inconspicuous area first. Do not use on delicate fabrics or surfaces sensitive to water or scrubbing.
- Ensure the power cord is fully extended and not tangled during use.
- After use, empty the dirty water tank and clean the spray nozzle and brush to prevent clogging.
- When returning to the base station, coil the hose properly.
3.2 Mapping
The mapping feature helps the robot learn your home layout for efficient cleaning. For best results:
- Open All Doors: Ensure all doors within the cleaning area are open.
- Block Off Restricted Areas: Use physical barriers for areas you don't want mapped initially. These can be replaced by virtual boundaries in the app later.
- Remove Obstacles: Clear objects like toys, cables, or small furniture.
- Do Not Move the Base Station: The station is a navigation reference point.
Tap "Start" in the app to begin mapping.
3.3 Set Up No-Go Zone and No-Mop Zone
Use the eufy app to define restricted areas (No-Go Zones or No-Mop Zones) without physical barriers. This feature is for dividing cleaning zones, not for hazardous areas.
3.4 Schedule Cleaning
Schedule RoboVac to clean at specific times via the eufy app (Sunday to Saturday). During "Do Not Disturb" periods, RoboVac remains silent, with automatic dust collection and voice notifications disabled.
3.5 Select a Cleaning Mode
Start, pause, or select cleaning modes via the eufy app. Customize modes, duration, water level, and suction.
3.5.1 House Cleaning Mode
Tap "Start" in the app. RoboVac leaves the Omni Station, determines its route, and returns automatically upon completion.
[Pause] cleaning by tapping "Pause" in the app or pressing the power button on RoboVac.
3.5.2 Room Cleaning Mode
Your house is automatically divided into rooms in the app. Select specific rooms to clean. RoboVac returns to the Omni Station after cleaning. This mode requires an existing map.
3.5.3 Zone Cleaning Mode
Set up a custom cleaning zone of a specific size in the app. RoboVac will clean only the selected zone.
4. Using the Mopping System
- Start cleaning. RoboVac will vacuum and mop. You can select one of three water levels via the eufy app.
- Regularly empty and clean the dirty water tank to prevent mildew or odors. Refer to the "Cleaning and Maintenance" section for details.
5. Using RoboVac with Alexa, Siri, or Google Assistant Compatible Devices
Control your RoboVac using voice commands with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
Prerequisites:
- RoboVac must be attached to the Omni Station with sufficient power.
- RoboVac must be connected to the eufy app.
- For Siri control, use an iPhone or iPad with a recent iOS version.
Setup:
- In the eufy app, click the top left corner and find "Smart Integrations" in the dropdown menu.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
6. Enabling / Disabling Child Safety Lock
Activate the child safety lock in the eufy app under "More Setting" > "Child Lock". When enabled, all buttons are locked to prevent accidental operation by children.
7. Using the Portable Deep Cleaner
7.1 Preparing Your Portable Deep Cleaner
- Unplug the Omni Station. Remove the cleaner's cover and detach the cleaner from the Omni Station.
- Move the cleaner to the area needing cleaning and connect it to a power source.
7.2 Start Cleaning
- Remove the nozzle from its slot and unwind the water hose.
- Spray an appropriate amount of fabric cleaner onto the stain and let it sit for 1 minute.
- [Press and hold] the spray trigger to dispense water over the stained area. Use the brush to scrub gently while the cleaner extracts the water and stain mixture.
[Note]: After cleaning, allow the cleaner to run for an additional 5 seconds to extract remaining water from the hose.
7.3 Enabling Self-cleaning Mode
After cleaning, [press] the self-cleaning button to automatically clean the inside of the hose and nozzle. This process takes 5 seconds. Ensure the brush is in an upright position during self-cleaning.
7.4 After Use
- Unplug the cleaner. Wind the hose around the cleaner in two loops and secure the nozzle into its slot. Do not wrap the hose too tightly.
- Gently place the cleaner back on the station and secure the cover.
- Connect the Omni Station to a power source so RoboVac can function normally for subsequent use.

Power off and unplug the device before cleaning. Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance. Frequency depends on usage.
