Assembly Steps
Step 1: Attach Backrest Support
Position the backrest support piece onto the chair frame as indicated by the arrows.
Diagram Description: The chair frame is shown. An arrow points downwards onto the top rear crossbar, indicating where the backrest support attaches.
Step 2: Secure Backrest Support
Fasten the backrest support using four screws (Part ID: 106917). Use a screwdriver to tighten.
Diagram Description: A magnified view shows a screw (106917) being inserted into the backrest support and the chair frame using a screwdriver. Two smaller diagrams illustrate a correctly inserted screw and an incorrectly inserted screw (e.g., angled or not fully seated).
Step 3: Attach Seat Support Bar
Attach the horizontal seat support bar below the seat area. Align the bar with the designated connection points on the chair legs/frame.
Diagram Description: The chair frame is shown. Arrows indicate the downward placement of the seat support bar onto connection points on the front and rear leg assemblies. Magnified insets show the precise alignment of holes on the support bar with holes on the frame.
Step 4: Assemble Seat Frame to Legs
Attach the seat frame to the chair legs using four bolts (Part ID: 130718). Use the provided Allen key (100092) for tightening. Note: Do not use bolt Part ID: 10126011 for this step.
Diagram Description: A diagram shows two types of bolts, highlighting bolt 130718 for use and crossing out bolt 10126011. A magnified view shows a bolt (130718) being inserted through the seat frame and into the chair leg, tightened with the Allen key (100092). Smaller diagrams show correct and incorrect bolt insertion.
Step 5: Attach Seat
Place the seat onto the assembled frame and secure it using four bolts (Part ID: 10126011).
Diagram Description: The chair frame with attached seat is shown. A magnified view illustrates four bolts (10126011) being inserted through the seat and into the frame, secured with a screwdriver. An icon with a crossed-out electric drill warns against using power tools.
Step 6: Attach Backrest
Attach the backrest to the chair frame using four screws (Part ID: 106917). Use a screwdriver to tighten.
Diagram Description: The chair is shown. A magnified view illustrates four screws (106917) being inserted into the backrest and chair frame, tightened with a screwdriver. Smaller diagrams show correct and incorrect screw insertion.
Step 7: Final Tightening
Ensure all bolts and screws are securely tightened using the Allen key (100092) and a screwdriver, respectively. Do not overtighten.
Diagram Description: The assembled chair is shown. A magnified view shows the Allen key (100092) being used to tighten bolts. Smaller diagrams show correct tightening and an incorrect state (e.g., loose or over-tightened).
Step 8: Final Check and Stability
Check the assembled chair for stability. Ensure all connections are firm and the chair sits level on the floor.
Diagram Description: An icon (ⓘ) is displayed. A diagram shows a wobbly chair with a crossed-out symbol (❌), indicating instability. A hand icon (?) points to the base of the chair, suggesting checking the floor or assembly. The final diagram shows the correctly assembled BUSLÄTT chair.
