BUSLÄTT Chair Assembly Instructions

This document provides assembly instructions for the IKEA BUSLÄTT chair. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning assembly.

Assembly Steps

Step 1: Attach Backrest

Insert the backrest into the slots on the upper part of the side frames. Ensure it is correctly oriented.

Step 2: Secure Seat Supports

Attach the seat support bars to the side frames using four screws (Part Number: 106917). Use a screwdriver. Ensure correct alignment before tightening. Do not overtighten screws. [check-mark] Correct, [cross-mark] Incorrect.

Step 3: Attach Front Crossbar

Position the front crossbar between the front legs. Insert the crossbar into the designated holes on the legs.

Step 4: Attach Seat Frame

Place the seat frame onto the assembled base. Align the holes in the seat frame with the holes in the side frames. Secure using four bolts (Part Number: 130718) and the included Allen key (Part Number: 100092). Tighten partially.

Step 5: Secure Seat

Attach the seat to the frame using four bolts (Part Number: 10126011). Use the Allen key (Part Number: 100092). Tighten partially.

Step 6: Finalize Backrest Attachment

Attach the backrest to the frame using the remaining four screws (Part Number: 106917). Use a screwdriver. Ensure correct alignment.

Step 7: Final Tightening

Once all parts are assembled and aligned, fully tighten all screws and bolts using the Allen key and screwdriver. Ensure the chair is stable. [check-mark] Correct, [cross-mark] Incorrect.

Important: Do not use power tools for assembly. [cross-mark] Incorrect.

Safety and Usage

Periodically check that all fittings are tightened. Ensure the chair is stable on a level surface. Do not sit on the chair if it is wobbly or unstable. [information-icon]

The chair is designed for normal seating use. Avoid excessive force or weight.
