Installation Instructions
General Steps
- Remove the original chassis mounting screws from the engine.
- Mount the crash protectors on each side of the motorcycle as shown in the accompanying diagrams.
- Tighten the main set screws.
- Place the end caps (plastic caps) onto the protectors.
Torque Specifications & Recommendations
All replaced screws must be tightened to the torque specified in the motorcycle's OEM maintenance manual. If no specific torque data is provided, use a torque of 54 Nm for all M10 screws.
It is recommended to use a medium-strength thread-locker (e.g., Loctite) to secure all screws, bolts, and nuts.
Post-Installation Check
After driving the first 50 km, re-check the tightness of all screws, bolts, and nuts to ensure they are properly secured.

Left Side Assembly (LADO IZQUIERDO - LEFT SIDE - LINKE SEITE)
This diagram illustrates the installation of crash protection components on the left side of the BMW S1000RR.
The assembly involves attaching the PRO 2.0 protector (5) to the motorcycle frame. A left aluminum spacer (7) and a left side offset component (8) are positioned between the frame and the protector.
