Installation
Important Information
- Tidy cables and loose items from the ground. Move any unstable, fragile, precious, or dangerous items to prevent personal injury or property damage due to items becoming tangled in, struck by, or knocked over by the robot.
- When using the robot in a raised area, use a secure physical barrier to prevent accidental falls that may result in personal injury or property damage.
Note: For first-time use, follow the robot's cleaning route and watch for potential problems. The robot will learn to clean by itself.
B1 Position the charging dock
Keep the Charging Dock on a level surface, flat against a wall. Connect the power cable and tidy cables. Place the Charging Dock in an area with good WiFi coverage for optimal app experience.
- B1-1: Clearance: More than 0.5m (1.6ft) on each side.
- B1-2: Clearance: More than 1.5m (4.9ft) in front.
Notes:
- If the power cable hangs vertically, the robot might catch it, disconnecting the dock.
- The Charging Dock indicator is on when electrified, and off when the robot is charging.
- Do not place the Charging Dock in direct sunlight or block the Location Beacon, as this may prevent the robot from returning to the dock.
B2 Secure the charging dock with the adhesive tape
Wipe the floor area with a dry cloth. Secure the dock using the provided double-sided tape. Remove tape slowly to minimize residue.
B3 Attach the Moisture-Proof Mat
After placing the Charging Dock, clean the area for the Moisture-Proof Mat. Peel off the double-sided tape backing and stick the mat to the ground.
Notes:
- Always place the Moisture-Proof Mat on wooden floors.
- Peel the double-sided tape slowly to minimize residual adhesive.
- The mat attaches best to smooth surfaces.
Power on and charge the robot
Press and hold the [Power/Clean button] to power on the robot. Once the power light is on, place the robot on the dock to charge. The charging dock power indicator should turn off, and a "charging" voice alert should sound. Keep the robot charged to maintain battery performance.
Note: If the battery is very low, the robot may not turn on. Place it directly on the dock to charge.
Mopping
Note: For first-time use, vacuum floors at least three times to prevent excessive dirt buildup before mopping.
B4-1 Remove the water tank
Press the water tank latch and slide the tank backward.
B4-2 Fill the water tank
Remove the water tank stopper, fill with clean water, and close tightly.
Notes:
- Use only Roborock-branded floor cleaner in the water tank to prevent corrosion or damage.
- Do not use hot water, as it may deform the tank.
B4-3 Reinstall the water tank
Slide the water tank into the robot until it clicks into place.
B4-4 Install the VibraRise mop cloth
Dampen the mop cloth, wring it until it stops dripping, insert it into the bottom along the attachment slot, and stick it firmly.
B4-5 Install the VibraRise mop cloth mount
Slide the VibraRise mop cloth mount forward under the water tank. A click indicates it is locked.
B4-6 Remove the VibraRise mop cloth mount
When the robot returns to the dock, press the latches on both sides and slide the mount backward to remove it.
Notes:
- Wash the VibraRise mop cloth after each use and empty the water tank regularly.
- Remove the VibraRise mop cloth mount when not mopping. The water tank can remain attached.
B4-7 WARNING: Risk of injury. Do not place your finger between the VibraRise mop cloth mount and the water tank.

Notes:
- Start the robot from the dock for automatic vacuuming and return. Do not move the dock during cleaning.

Note: After spot cleaning, the robot automatically returns to the starting point and enters Standby mode.
Pause
When the robot is running, press any button to pause. Press the [Power button] to resume cleaning, or press the [Dock button] to send it back to the dock.
Note: Manually placing a paused robot on the dock ends the current cleanup.
Refilling the Water Tank or Cleaning the VibraRise Mop Cloth
To add water or clean the mop cloth, press any button to stop the robot and remove the mopping module. Reinstall the module after servicing and press the [Power button] to continue.
Sleep
If the robot is paused for over 10 minutes, it enters sleep mode. The power indicator flashes periodically. Press any button to wake it up.
Notes:
- The robot does not sleep while charging.
- The robot automatically shuts down after 12 hours in sleep mode.
DND Mode (Do Not Disturb)
Default DND period: 22:00 to 08:00. This can be disabled or modified via the app. When DND is active, the robot will not resume cleanup automatically, the power indicator dims, and voice prompt volume lowers.
Child Lock
Press and hold the [Power button] to enable/disable child lock (also configurable in the app). When enabled, the robot ignores button presses when stationary. Pressing any button during cleaning or docking will stop the robot.
Charging
After cleaning, the robot automatically returns to the dock. In Pause mode, press the [Power button] to send it to the dock. The power indicator pulses during charging.
