This document provides comprehensive installation instructions, a detailed parts list, and technical specifications for the GDW Ref. 1292 tow bar. This tow bar is designed for Daihatsu Sirion and YRV models manufactured from 2001 onwards.

Technical Specifications

Installation Instructions
Follow these steps carefully for proper installation:
- Remove the inner lining from the trunk and take out the spare wheel.
- On both sides of the vehicle, enlarge the 2 rear chassis openings to Ø17mm (refer to photos 1 and 2). Insert the raised washers at the bottom of the chassis. Position the tow bar with point C over the towing eye and insert the bolt. Points A and A' align with the inserted raised washers. Drill these points perpendicularly through to the trunk with Ø10.5mm. Place the 50x50x12x2 washers in the trunk, insert the bolts, but do not tighten yet.
- Points B align with the provided drillings on the underside of the cross-beam (refer to photo 3). Drill these points through to the trunk as well. In the trunk, enlarge these holes to Ø17mm. Insert the raised washers and bolts, but do not tighten yet.
- Attach the ball and tighten everything firmly.

Important Notes:
- Consult your vehicle dealer or owner's manual for the maximum permissible towing mass.
- Remove any bitumen coating or sound-deadening material from the fastening points before installation.
- Exercise caution when drilling to avoid damaging brake lines, electrical wiring, or fuel lines.
