Introduction

Besides general functions of the recorder, this machine has three new main features:

1. Built-in double lens can be used to take two images at front and back at the same time.
2. Newly added GPS module can record the whole driving track. Using specialized software, you can view the video using a computer, connect to Google map through the Internet. Driving track shows on the map and you can trace the running route of the vehicle.
3. Built-in gravity sensor G-Sensor can record the gravity sensing information. Using specialized software, you can see the video at computer, and read the gravity sensing data to trace accident and abnormal circumstance occurred in the running process.

In order to maximize the performance of the recorder, please read this instruction manual carefully before use. (This machine and accessories of the design and specifications are subject to change without prior notice).

Using the PLDVRCAMG37 Recorder

Battery Charging

There are two methods for battery charging:

1. Use a USB cord to connect the machine with a computer for charging.
2. Use the accessory vehicle-mounted power source for charging.

The charging indicator lights up in red during the process. When charging is finished, the indicator automatically extinguishes. The whole charging process takes about 240 minutes.

Insert Memory Card

Insert a Micro SD memory card into the slot in accordance with the indicating direction on the machine body until you hear a "Ka" sound.

Remove Card: Push the memory card inside, and the card will pop up, then you can remove the memory card.

Notice:

• When using a memory card for the first time, it must be formatted using the attached software tool, as formatting by a computer is not supported. Formatting will permanently delete all data on the memory card, including protected images, which cannot be restored. Please back up important data before formatting.
• If the machine cannot format the memory card, use the attached software on a computer.

Adjust the positions of the lens

The front lens can be turned 20 degrees up and down to meet the recorder's fixed position and improve shooting.

Turning ON and OFF

• Turn on: Press the power button for a relative long time until the red ON indicator lights up.
• Turn off: Press the power button one more time for a relative long time until the red ON indicator extinguishes.

Notice: When in low battery, the travelling recorder will automatically turn off.

Changing Operating Mode

This machine has two operating modes: pickup and playback. Press the MODE button to change between them.

Setup Menu

Press the MENU button to enter the MENU page. The "Menu setting" column will be in blue background. In the menu setting page, use the left and right keys to select the required setting fields. Click the "OK" button to accept the settings, and press the MENU key again to exit the menu.

System Setting

You can make system settings in framing preview mode:

• Video Mode: Select Double lens / front lens / back lens.
• Time Setting: Press left and right keys for time adjustment; press OK key to confirm and exit.
• Formatting: Press the OK key to enter and select Yes/No.
• Video Format: NTSC/PAL setting.
• Voice: On/Off.
• Recording: On/Of.
• Language: Select from English / German / French / Spanish / Italian / Portuguese / Traditional Chinese / Simplified Chinese / Japanese.
• Screen Preset: On/Off.
• Automatic Video Protection Sensitivity: Set sensitivity to Low / general / high, or automatically turn off video protection function. This function sets the gravity sensor to start automatic video recording sensitivity.
• Frequency: 50HZ/60HZ.

How to Shoot

• Start / Stop shooting: In the shooting mode, press OK key to start shooting, then press OK key again to stop shooting. When the travelling recorder is on or inserting a memory card, it will automatically start shooting.
• Open / Close audio: During video recording, press the left key to quickly open/close audio in the video.

Video Playback and File Management

Press the MODE key to enter playback mode. The screen will show the playback picture of the last video file.

• Video Playback: Press left and right buttons to select the audio and video files for playback. Press OK key to play and pause the video file.
• Select Memory Card disk path: Click "Apply" to load and automatically play the document in the memory card. Clicking the playback controls (from left to right: slow turning / stop / play (pause) / fast turning) can control the playing state.
• Select Double Lens Channel: Select double lens channel of video playing: Double lens / front lens / back lens.
• Video on File: Select video file to save and click the save icon to pop up the saving file path. After selection, click "sure" to save the selected file.
• Image File: Select image photo to save and click the camera icon to pop up the saving file path. After selecting the path, click "save".
• Delete Document: Select the video file to be deleted and click the delete icon. "Sure/Cancel" options will appear; select "Sure" to delete the selected video file.

Kit

The kit can proceed with the following operations:

• SD card formatting
• Upload software to the SD card
• SD card speed test
• Map selection
• User password setting

Click the kit icon to enter the kit interface.

Google Map

Click the Google Map icon, and the computer will connect to Google Maps via the Internet to show the travelling path on the map. You can trace the travelling path of the vehicle.

Gravity Sensor

Click the gravity sensor icon to watch the video on the computer, and simultaneously read and display the gravity sensing data to trace accidents and abnormal circumstances that occurred during driving.

Other Operations

Click the respective icons (from left to right) to perform the following operations:

• Repair film
• Unlock protection
• Choose to display size

Reset the Machine

If abnormal circumstances occur due to improper operation, press the reset button and then restart the machine. The machine will return to normal.
