Pyle PLCM7500 Wiring Diagram
This document outlines the wiring connections for the Pyle PLCM7500 backup camera system.
System Components and Connections
- Battery: The primary power source. A red wire connects from the Battery.
- Ground: Multiple ground points are indicated by black wires, connecting to the system, monitor, and camera.
- Monitor: The display unit. It receives power (likely via a green wire from the Battery area) and connects to ground via a black wire. It also has a video input labeled "VID2".
- Camera: The backup camera. It connects to ground via a black wire and its video output (yellow wire) connects to the monitor's "VID2" input.
- Reverse Tail Light: The vehicle's reverse tail light. It is connected via a red wire (likely for reverse signal power) and a black wire (ground).
Wiring Paths
The diagram illustrates the following primary wiring paths:
- A red wire connects the Battery to the Reverse Tail Light.
- A black wire connects from the Battery to a Ground point.
- A black wire connects the Monitor to a Ground point.
- A black wire connects the Camera to a Ground point.
- A yellow wire connects the Camera's video output to the Monitor's "VID2" input.
- A green wire appears to provide power or a trigger signal from the Battery area to the Monitor and potentially the camera system.
- A red wire connects from the video signal path (near VID2) to the Reverse Tail Light. This connection is noted as "Monitor to backup light cable not included," indicating that a separate cable is required to link the monitor's trigger to the vehicle's reverse light signal.
Important Note
The cable required to connect the monitor to the backup light signal is not included with the system.
