MIBOXER Zigbee 3.0 Series User Manual

1. Product Feature

The item is made by Zigbee 3.0 wireless transmitting technology with low power consumption, strong ability to build network automatically and anti-interference. Pairing the item with a MiBoxer Zigbee gateway allows for dimming color, remote control, timing control, group control, and music rhythm functions.

2. Instruction for smart phone App control

Please read the Zigbee 3.0 gateway instruction to add the Zigbee 3.0 gateway into MiBoxer Smart App firstly.

1. Connect the light with a power source.
2. Ensure that the light is in breathing status (repeat: turn on and turn off the light three times if the light is not breathing).
3. Open MiBoxer Smart App, click the gateway to add a sub-device.
4. Click "Indicator is flashing quickly".
5. Use the App to dim color, perform group control, and scene control once you have finished adding the device successfully.

App Interface Description:

• Home Screen: Shows "? Welcome Home".
• Device List: Displays "? All Devices ?️ Bedroom" and "? Zigbee Gateway".
• Gateway Status: Shows "Ensure device is in pairing mode (LED is blinking)".
• Reset Instructions: Provides methods for resetting [Sensor], [Socket], and [Light Source] devices.
• Adding Device: Prompts to "You haven't created any devices yet. Tap [Add Button] to start."
• Add Subdevice: A button labeled "[Add Subdevice Button]".
• Pairing Indicator: A button labeled "[Indicator Flashing Quickly Button]".
• Search Device: A screen showing "? Search device".
• Confirmation: Indicates "1 device has been successfully added" and a "[Done Button]".

3. Instruction For Remote Control

Attention: The light and remote control must be added to the same gateway.

3.1. Add remote control into gateway

1. Find out the Zigbee gateway in MiBoxer Smart App.
2. Click the Zigbee gateway and select "Add subdevice".
3. Press the "ON" and "OFF" buttons on the remote control for 5 seconds until the indicator flashes (one time per second).
4. Click "Indicator is flashing quickly".
5. Searching device and click "Done" to finish adding the device.

3.2. Instruction for pairing code between light and remote

1. Select "Zigbee Remote", click "Enter".
2. Select zones (e.g., Zone-1).
3. Click "Device Selection".
4. Select device, click "Save".

App Interface Description for Pairing:

• Zigbee Remote Screen: Allows configuration of parameters and modification of key names.
• Zone Management: Displays "[Zone-8]", "[Zone-1]", "[Zone-2]", etc.
• Attention Note: "Attention: Zone-8 on APP = ON/OFF button on remote." This means Zone-8 on the app corresponds to the ON/OFF button on the remote.
• Device Selection: Screen to select devices for a zone.
• Save/Cancel: Buttons labeled "[Save Button]" and "[Cancel Button]".

3.3. Double clicking "I" button to setup

1. Click "Double-click the "I" key" to enter setting.
2. Press "Save" to complete.

Explanation for double clicking "I" button: Select your favorite color or scene and save them. You can then use the [I Button] to quickly access your favorite color or scene.

App Interface Description for "I" Button Setup:

• Device Selection Screen: Shows options like "Bulb", "Save", "Zone-1".
• "I" Key Function: "Double-click the "I" key" is highlighted.

4. Instruction For Third Party Voice Control

Support Amazon Alexa Voice Control

Please search "Smart life" skill in Alexa App and activate skill.

Alexa App Interface Description:

• Search Screen: Shows search results for "Smart life".
• Skill Details: Displays "Smart Life" skill with example command "Alexa, set hallway light to 50 percent" and user ratings.

Support Google Home Voice Control

Please search "Smart life" skill in Google Home APP and activate skill.

Google Home App Interface Description:

• Manage Accounts: Shows account management screen.
• Smart Life Integration: Displays "Smart Life" as an integrated service.

5. Attention

1. Do not permit to use the device in high temperature or humid areas.
2. Do not install the device near strong magnetic areas, as it will affect the control distance seriously.
3. Do not disassemble the device to avoid any damage if you are not an expert.
