This gateway is compatible with MiBoxer 2.4GHz RF products. It communicates with the cloud via a Wi-Fi network, allowing users to remotely control connected lights using the "Tuya Smart" or "MiBoxer" App. It also supports third-party voice control, meeting various smart home application needs.

The device is a square gateway with dimensions approximately 64.5mm x 64.5mm x 15mm. It features two indicator lights labeled "SYS" and "LINK".

Smartphone app control instruction

Download and install "Tuya Smart" APP

Search for "Tuya Smart" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or scan the provided QR code. Please create an account if using for the first time.

Pairing with Network (5G router is useless)

1. Wire the gateway with a power source and enable your smartphone to connect to Wi-Fi.
2. Standby pairing with Network: Confirm the "SYS" indicator is flashing quickly. If the indicator is not flashing quickly, please long press the [SET ⚙️ button] for 3 seconds.

3). Click "+" in APP

4). Select "Lighting"

5). Find out "Light Source (BLE+Wi-Fi)"

6). Finish every step based on instruction

Copy Remote

If you have multiple lamps already linked with a remote, the new gateway offers two control solutions for your lamp:

• Way 1: Follow the instruction for linking the gateway and then link the gateway with your lamp. (Disadvantage: time-consuming)
• Way 2: Use the "Copy remote" function. This allows control of lamps once copying is completed. (Advantage: saves time)

How to copy remote?

1. Click "Set"
2. Click "Copy remote"
3. Click "Copy"
4. Finish based on App instruction

Clean up

Clean up a copied remote, then divide the remote and gateway.

Attention: The gateway can only copy one remote at a time. It will replace the previous one if you copy another new remote.

How to select zones?

1. Click the connected gateway, e.g., "2.4G Gateway".
2. Explanation: The app interface shows zone selection. Short press to select zones, which can be the master zone or group zones (1-16 or 1-100).

Attention: "0" means the master group.

How to rename group zones?

Attention: Only supports renaming the master zone and zones 1-16.

1. Long press "Choose zone".
2. Click the zones you want to rename (e.g., ALL).
3. Type the new name.
4. Click "Save".

Link/Unlink instruction

The lamp must be linked with the gateway. One zone can control countless MiBoxer 2.4G lamps.

Link:

1. Select group zones.
2. Power off lamps and power on again after 10 seconds (refer to lamp instruction).
3. Lamp is on, short press "Link" 1 time.
4. Linking is done once the light flashes 3 times slowly.

Unlink:

1. Select group zones.
2. Power off lamps and power on again after 10 seconds (refer to lamp instruction).
3. Lamp is on, short press "Unlink" 1 time.
4. Unlinking is done once the light flashes 10 times quickly.

Share device in home

1. Click the [? Share icon].
2. Click "Share Device" and follow the instructions on the APP.

Alexa voice control instruction

Please add the device into the Tuya Smart App (details on page 4) before performing the following steps:

1. Open Alexa App.
2. Click "More" on the bottom right corner.
3. Click "Skills & Games".
4. Click the [? Search icon] on the top right corner.
5. Type "Smart life" and search.
6. Click the "Smart Life" skill, follow the instructions to finish configuration, and start voice control.

Alexa voice group control

Use voice commands to switch zones first, then control lamps (turn on/off, adjust brightness, color temperature, adjust color). Commands include:

• "Alexa, set the <device name> group to 7."
• "Alexa, decrease the group on the <device name> by 3."
• "Alexa, what's the <device name> group?"
• "Alexa, set the group on the <device name> to (0-100)".

Google Home voice control instruction

Please add the device into the Tuya Smart App (details on page 4) before performing the following steps:

1. Open Google Home App.
2. Click "➕" on the top left corner.
3. Click "Set up device".
4. Click "Works with Google".
5. Click the [? Search icon] on the top right corner.
6. Type "Smart life" and search.
7. Click the "Smart Life" skill, follow the instructions to finish configuration, and start voice control.

Attention: Google Home does not support group control.

Attention

1. Please stay away from magnetic areas, otherwise the signal will be affected.
2. Do not install the device in places with strong sunshine, high temperature, or high humidity. Working temperature is -10~40°C.
