Important Safety Instructions ⚠️

When using an electrical Appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS APPLIANCE

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

  1. This Appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the Appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the Appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  2. Clear the area to be cleaned. Remove power cords and small objects from the floor that could entangle the Appliance. Tuck rug fringe under the rug base, and lift items such as curtains and tablecloths off the floor.
  3. If there is a drop off in the cleaning area due to a step or stairs, you should operate the Appliance to ensure that it can detect the step without falling over the edge. It may become necessary to place a physical barrier at the edge to keep the unit from falling. Make sure the physical barrier is not a trip hazard.
  4. Only use as described in this manual. Only use attachments recommended or sold by the manufacturer.
  5. Please make sure your power supply source voltage matches the power voltage marked on the Empty Station.
  6. For INDOOR household use ONLY. Do not use the Appliance in outdoor, commercial or industrial environments.
  7. Use only the original rechargeable battery and Empty Station provided with the Appliance from the manufacturer. Non-rechargeable batteries are prohibited.
  8. Do not use without Auto-Empty Dust Bin and/or filters in place.
  9. Do not operate the Appliance in an area where there are lit candles or fragile objects.
  10. Do not use in extremely hot or cold environments (below -5°C/23°F or above 40°C/104°F).
  11. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from any openings and moving parts.
  12. Do not operate the Appliance in a room where an infant or child is sleeping.
  13. Do not use Appliance on wet surfaces or surfaces with standing water.
  14. Do not allow the Appliance to pick up large objects like stones, large pieces of paper or any item that may clog the Appliance.
  15. Do not use Appliance to pick up flammable or combustible materials such as gasoline, printer or copier toner, or use in areas where they may be present.
  16. Do not use Appliance to pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, hot ashes, or anything that could cause a fire.
  17. Do not put objects into the suction intake. Do not use if the suction intake is blocked. Keep the intake clear of dust, lint, hair, or anything that may reduce air flow.
  18. Take care not to damage the power cord. Do not pull on or carry the Appliance or Empty Station by the power cord, use the power cord as a handle, close a door on the power cord, or pull power cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run Appliance over the power cord. Keep power cord away from hot surfaces.
  19. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent in order to avoid a hazard.
  20. Do not use the Empty Station if it is damaged. The power supply is not to be repaired and not to be used any longer if it is damaged or defective.
  21. Do not use with a damaged power cord or receptacle. Do not use the Appliance or Empty Station if it is not working properly, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or come in contact with water. It must be repaired by the manufacturer or its service agent in order to avoid a hazard.
  22. Turn OFF the power switch before cleaning or maintaining the Appliance.
  23. The plug must be removed from the receptacle before cleaning or maintaining the Empty Station.
  24. Remove the Appliance from the Empty Station, and turn OFF the power switch to the Appliance before removing the battery for disposal of the Appliance.
  25. The battery must be removed and discarded according to local laws and regulations before disposal of the Appliance.
  26. Please dispose of used batteries according to local laws and regulations.
  27. Do not incinerate the Appliance even if it is severely damaged. The batteries can explode in a fire.
  28. When not using the Empty Station for a long period of time, please unplug it.
  29. The Appliance must be used in accordance with the directions in this Instruction Manual. ECOVACS ROBOTICS cannot be held liable or responsible for any damages or injuries caused by improper use.
  30. The robot contains batteries that are only replaceable by skilled persons. To replace the robot's battery, please contact Customer Service.
  31. If the robot will not be used for a long time, power OFF the robot for storage and unplug the Empty Station.
  32. WARNING: For the purposes of recharging the battery, only use the detachable supply unit CH2117 provided with the Appliance. To satisfy RF exposure requirements, a separation distance of 20 cm or more should be maintained between this device and persons during device operation. To ensure compliance, operations at closer than this distance is not recommended. The antenna used for this transmitter must not be co-located in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.

Device Update

Typically, some devices are updated bi-monthly, but not always so specific. Some devices, especially those that went on sale more than three years ago, will only be updated if a critical vulnerability is found and fixed.

Auto-Empty Dust Bin Assembly

This assembly includes the High Efficiency Filter, Sponge Filter, Auto-Empty Dust Bin Handle, Filter Net, Release Button, and Dust Disposal Port.

Empty Station

The Empty Station (main unit) includes the Top Cover, Storage Box, Indicator Light, Charging Contacts, and Auto-Empty Inlet. The top of the station shows the Blower Cover, Dust Bag Socket, and Dust Evacuation Tube.

OZMO™ Pro 3.0 Oscillating Mopping System

This mopping attachment features a Reservoir, Water Inlet, and Reservoir Release Button.

Air Freshener (Pre-installed)

This component includes the Air Freshener unit, Capsule Container, and Release Button.

Empty Station (Back View)

The back of the station has a Power Cord Wrap and a Power Cord Port.

Dust Bag

The Dust Bag has a handle for easy removal.

Notes Before Cleaning ?

Tidy up the area to be cleaned by putting furniture, such as chairs, in their proper place.

During the first use, make sure each room door is open to help DEEBOT fully explore your house.

It may be necessary to place a physical barrier at the edge of a drop to stop the unit from falling over the edge.

Make sure areas to be cleaned are well illuminated so AIVI Camera works properly. Remove power cords and small objects from the floor to ensure cleaning efficiency.

Put away objects including cables, cloths and slippers, etc. on the floor to improve the cleaning efficiency.

Clean the AIVI Camera and TrueMapping Distance Sensor with a clean cloth, and avoid using any detergent or cleaning spray.

Before using the product on a rug with tasseled edges, please fold the rug edges under.

Please do not stand in narrow spaces, such as hallways, and make sure not to block the AIVI Camera.

Quick Start ▶️

Initial Setup

Before using DEEBOT, please remove all protective films or protective strips on DEEBOT and Empty Station.

Install the Dual Side Brushes

Make sure the color of Dual Side Brushes are consistent with that of the mounting slot before attaching them.

ECOVACS HOME App

To enjoy all available features, it is recommended to control your DEEBOT via the ECOVACS HOME app. Before you start, ensure your mobile phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network, the 2.4GHz band wireless signal is enabled on your router, and the Wi-Fi indicator light on DEEBOT is slowly flashing.

Download the app from the App Store or Google Play.

Wi-Fi Connection Requirements

Before Wi-Fi setup, ensure DEEBOT, mobile phone, and Wi-Fi network meet the following requirements:

Wi-Fi Network Requirements

After Wi-Fi connection, DEEBOT will enter Networked Standby mode if it has no signal input within 10 minutes.

Please be aware that intelligent functions like remote startup, voice interaction, 2D/3D map display, control settings, and personalized cleaning require the ECOVACS HOME App. You must agree to the Privacy Policy and User Agreement to use these features. Basic functions are available for manual operation even without agreement.

Charging DEEBOT ?

Step 1: Connect the Power Cord

Connect the power cord to the Empty Station and a power outlet.

Step 2: Empty Station Placement and Assembly

Place the Empty Station on a hard, level surface against a wall. Ensure adequate clearance: at least 0.5m (1.64') on both sides and 1.8m (5.9') in front. Keep the area around the Station clear of objects and reflective surfaces. Do not place the Empty Station on carpet.

Step 3: Power ON

Turn the power switch on the robot to 'I' (ON). The 'O' position is OFF. DEEBOT cannot be charged when powered OFF.

Step 4: Charge DEEBOT

Place DEEBOT onto the Empty Station. The robot will begin charging. A full charge takes approximately 6.5 hours. Ensure DEEBOT starts cleaning from the Station and do not move the Station while cleaning. When cleaning is complete, it is recommended to remove the Mopping Pad and manually place DEEBOT into the Station.

Operating DEEBOT ▶️

For the first-time cleaning, ensure DEEBOT is fully charged. During the first cleaning:

  1. Please make sure to install the Air Freshener to create a home map, including carpet area, in the ECOVACS HOME App.
  2. Please ensure that DEEBOT is fully charged.
  3. Please supervise DEEBOT and assist if any issues arise.

Step 1: Start

Install the Air Freshener if not already done. Press the AUTO Mode Button on DEEBOT to start cleaning.

Step 2: Pause/Wake Up

The robot's Control Panel stops glowing after a few minutes of being paused. Tap the AUTO Mode Button on DEEBOT to wake it up.

Step 3: Return to Charge

Tap the ? icon (or equivalent button) for 3 seconds to send DEEBOT back to the Empty Station.

OZMO™ Pro 3.0 Oscillating Mopping System ?

Note:

Step 1: Add Water

Fill the reservoir with purified water or ECOVACS DEEBOT Cleaning Solution. Do not soak the entire system in water.

Step 2: Dry Contacts Thoroughly

Ensure the electrical contacts on the mopping system and the robot are dry before attachment.

Step 3: Install OZMO™ Pro 3.0 Oscillating Mopping System

Align the mopping system with the designated slot on the robot and press until it clicks into place.

Step 4: Start Cleaning

Initiate cleaning after the mopping system is installed.

Air Freshener ?️

Step 1: Install Air Freshener Capsule (sold separately)

Insert the Air Freshener capsule into its designated holder.

Step 2: Install Air Freshener

Attach the Air Freshener unit to the robot until it clicks into place.

Regular Maintenance ?️

To keep DEEBOT running at peak performance, perform maintenance tasks and replace parts with the following frequencies:

Before performing cleaning and maintenance tasks on DEEBOT, turn the robot OFF and unplug the Empty Station.

A multi-function Cleaning Tool is provided for easy maintenance. Handle with care, this cleaning tool has sharp edges.

Maintain OZMO™ Pro 3.0 Oscillating Mopping System ?

Step 1: Remove OZMO™ Pro 3.0 Oscillating Mopping System

After DEEBOT finishes mopping, please empty the reservoir.

Step 2: Wipe OZMO™ Pro 3.0 Oscillating Mopping System Clean

Wipe the system with a clean, dry cloth. Do not soak into water.

Step 3: Washable Mopping Pad

Remove the washable mopping pad, clean it, and allow it to dry.

Maintain Auto-Empty Dust Bin and Filters ?

  1. Dispose of collected dust into a trash bin.
  2. Remove and clean the filters. Rinse the filters with water as shown in diagrams, ensuring they are completely dry before reinstallation. Do not use fingers or brushes to clean the filter.
  3. Reassemble the dust bin and filters.

Maintain Floating Main Brush and Dual Side Brushes ⚙️

Floating Main Brush

Periodically check and clean the floating main brush to remove entangled hair and debris. Diagrams show the brush assembly and how to remove/clean it.

Dual Side Brushes

Remove the dual side brushes. Clean them and the mounting area. Reinstall ensuring they click into place.

Filter Rinsing

Diagrams show rinsing filters with water. Note: Please rinse the filter with water as shown. Do not use finger or brush to clean the filter.

Maintain Empty Station ?

Before performing cleaning and maintenance on the Empty Station, unplug it first.

For proper maintenance, wipe with a clean dry cloth, and avoid using any detergent or cleaning spray.

Charging Contacts

Clean the charging contacts on both the robot and the Empty Station regularly to ensure good connection.

Dust Bag Maintenance ?️

Step 1: Dispose the Dust Bag

Lift out the dust bag using its handle to prevent dust leakage and dispose of it in a trash receptacle.

Step 2: Clean the Blower Cover

Clean the blower cover area of the auto-empty station.

Step 3: Install the Dust Bag

Insert a new dust bag into the station.

Step 4: Close the Dust Container Lid

Ensure the dust container lid is securely closed.

Maintain Other Components ?

Wipe the components with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid using cleaning sprays or detergents.

Diagrams illustrate cleaning the robot's sensors, bumper, and other external parts with a cloth.

The light effect of the Status Indicator on the Empty Station corresponds to different conditions and solutions. For more support, refer to the ECOVACS HOME App or the Troubleshooting Section of this manual.

Troubleshooting ❓

DEEBOT does not support 5GHz network. Please use a 2.4GHz or 2.4/5 GHz mixed network.
2 Unable to create furniture map on App. DEEBOT does not start cleaning from the Station.
Move DEEBOT when cleaning might cause the mop lost.
Auto cleaning is not complete.
DEEBOT must start cleaning from the Station.
During cleaning, do not move DEEBOT as far as possible.
Make sure DEEBOT automatically returns to the Station after cleaning.
3 DEEBOT Dual Side Brushes drop out of place during use. The Dual Side Brushes are not correctly installed. Make sure the Dual Side Brushes click into place when installing.
4 No signal found. Unable to return to the Station. The Station is incorrectly placed.
The Station is out of power or manually moved.
DEEBOT does not start cleaning from the Station.
The charging route is blocked. For example, the door of the room with the Station is closed.
Please place the Station correctly according to the instructions in the [Charging DEEBOT] section.
Check whether the Station is connected to power supply. Do not move the Station.
It is recommended that DEEBOT start cleaning from the Station.
Keep the charging route clear.
5 DEEBOT returns to the Station before it has finished cleaning. The room is large and DEEBOT needs to return to recharge.
DEEBOT is unable to reach certain areas blocked by furniture or barriers.
Please turn on Continuous Cleaning. For more details, please follow the App guidance.
Tidy up the area to be cleaned by putting furniture and small objects in their proper place.
6 DEEBOT is not charging. DEEBOT is not switched ON.
DEEBOT's Charging Contacts are not connected to the Station's Contacts.
The Station is not connected to the power supply.
The battery is completely discharged.
Switch ON DEEBOT.
Make sure that the robot's Charging Contacts have connected to the Station's Contacts and the AUTO Mode Button flashes. Check whether DEEBOT'S Charging Contacts and the Station are dirty. Please clean these parts according to the instructions in the [Maintenance] section.
Make sure the Power Cord is firmly connected to the Station.

7 Running is very loud during cleaning. Dual Side Brushes and Floating Main Brush are entangled. Auto-Empty Dust Bin and filter are blocked.
DEEBOT is in Strong Mode.
It is recommended to clean the Dual Side Brushes, Floating Main Brush, Auto-Empty Dust Bin, filter, etc. regularly.
Switch to Standard Mode.
8 DEEBOT gets stuck while working and stops. DEEBOT is tangled with something on the floor (electrical wires, curtains, carpet fringing, etc.).
DEEBOT might be stuck under furniture with an entrance of similar height.
DEEBOT will try various ways to free itself. If it is unsuccessful, manually remove the obstacles and restart.
Please set a physical barrier, or set a Virtual Boundary in the ECOVACS HOME App.
9 During cleaning, DEEBOT appears in the route disorder, running bias, repeated cleaning, small area leakage and so on. (If there is a large area that has not been swept temporarily, DEEBOT will make up the leakage independently. Sometimes DEEBOT will re-enter a cleaned room to find any missing area.) Objects such as wires and slippers placed on the ground affect the normal operation of DEEBOT.
It may be that the Driving Wheels slips on the ground when DEEBOT climbs steps, thresholds and door bars, thus affecting its judgment of the whole house environment.
Work on freshly waxed and polished floors or smooth tiles, resulting in less friction between the Driving Wheels and the floor.
Due to different home environments, some areas cannot be cleaned.
Please tidy up the scattered wires, slippers and other objects on the ground before cleaning. And reduce the scattered objects on the ground as far as possible. If there is any area leakage, DEEBOT will correct the leakage by itself, please do not interfere (such as moving DEEBOT or blocking the route).
It is recommended to close the door of this area and clean the area separately. After cleaning, DEEBOT will return to the starting point. Please rest assured to use.
Please wait for wax to dry before cleaning.
Clean the home environment to ensure that DEEBOT can enter for cleaning.
10 Video Manager cannot open or has no screen. The TrueMapping Distance Sensor is dirty or blocked by foreign matters.
Wi-fi connection failed.
Due to the network latency, you may not be able to open Video Manager temporarily.
Wipe the TrueMapping Distance Sensor with a clean soft cloth or remove foreign matters.
Check the Wi-Fi connection status. DEEBOT must be in an area with good Wi-Fi signal to enable the Video Manager.
Try again later.
11 Delay in remote control. The AIVI Camera is blocked. Remove the shield.
12 AIVI Camera cannot recognize objects. The Wi-Fi signal is poor, causing the video loading to be slow.
The cleaning area is not well illuminated.
AIVI Camera lens is dirty or blocked.
Use DEEBOT in areas with good Wi-Fi signals.
Smart Recognition requires sufficient lighting. Please make sure the areas to be cleaned are well illuminated.
Clean the lens with a clean soft cloth, and make sure the AIVI Camera is not blocked. Avoid using any detergent or cleaning spray while cleaning.
13 DEEBOT does not start auto-emptying after returning to the Empty Station. The Dust Container Lid is not closed.
The Dust Bag is not installed to the Empty Station.
Manually move DEEBOT to the Empty Station will not trigger Auto-Emptying.
DEEBOT returns to the Auto-Emptying Station running Video Manager in the App.
Do Not Disturb mode is enabled in ECOVACS HOME App.
The Dust Bag is full.
If the possible causes are excluded, it might be a component malfunction.
Close the Dust Container Lid.
Install the Dust Bag and close the Dust Container Lid.
In order to make sure DEEBOT starts auto-emptying successfully, avoid picking up and moving the Empty Station during the cleaning.
This is normal.
This is normal. Disable Do Not Disturb mode in the App, or start auto-emptying manually.
Replace the Dust Bag and close the Dust Container Lid.
Please contact customer service.
14 DEEBOT fails to auto-empty the Auto-Empty Dust Bin . The Auto-Empty Dust Bin is not installed.
The Dust Bag is full.
The Dust Disposal Port on the Auto-Empty Dust Bin is stuck by debris.
Dust Evacuation Tube is blocked.
Please install the Auto-Empty Dust Bin .
Replace the Dust Bag and close the Dust Container Lid.
Uninstall the Auto-Empty Dust Bin and clean the debris on the Dust Disposal Port.
Clean the Dust Evacuation Tube.
15 There is debris in the Dust Container. Fine particles are absorbed inside the Dust Container through the Dust Bag. Clean the Dust Container Lid and inner wall.
16 DEEBOT leaks dust or debris while cleaning. The Dust Bag is damaged.
The Dust Disposal Port are stuck by debris.
Check the Dust Bag and replace it.
Uninstall the Auto-Empty Dust Bin and clear the debris.
17 Air Freshener makes an abnormal noise. Objects have fallen into the Air Freshener. Please contact Customer Service for assistance.
18 DEEBOT does not respond to the Station instruction. DEEBOT is too far away from the Station.
DEEBOT and the Station are not paired.
If it is beyond the available distance, the ECOVACS HOME App can also be used to operate DEEBOT.
Unplug the Station plug and wait for 10 seconds to reinsert the plug. Manually push the robot up to the Station, and ensure that the charging contacts are correctly connected. Then, DEEBOT will start charging, and voice prompt pairing successful.
19 Driving wheels are blocked. Driving wheels are blocked by foreign objects. Please rotate and press the driving wheels to check whether there is any foreign object wrapped or stuck. If there is any foreign object, please clean it in time. If this problem persists, please contact Customer Care for help.
20 DEEBOT OZMO™ Pro 3.0 Oscillating Mopping System drops out of the place during use. The OZMO™ Pro 3.0 Oscillating Mopping System is not correctly installed. Make DEEBOT OZMO™ Pro 3.0 Oscillating Mopping System clicks into place when installing.
21 DEEBOT is stuck when cleaning with OZMO™ Pro 3.0 Oscillating Mopping System installed. DEEBOT may have difficulty climbing over obstacles when using OZMO™ Pro 3.0 Oscillating Mopping System. Please assist DEEBOT if there is a problem.
