Important Safety Instructions
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed:

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
- This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or persons who do not know its correct use, provided they are supervised or trained in the safe use of the appliance and are able to understand the risks involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- Clear the area to be cleaned. Remove power cords and small objects from the floor that could obstruct the appliance. Fold carpet fringes under themselves and lift objects such as curtains and tablecloths from the floor.
- In case of a potential fall in the area to be cleaned, for example due to stairs, the appliance must be set up so that it can detect the steps without falling. Barriers may need to be placed on the edge to prevent the robot from falling. Ensure that the physical barrier does not pose a tripping hazard to people.
- Use the appliance only as described in this manual. Use only accessories recommended or sold by the manufacturer.
- Ensure that the voltage of the power supply corresponds to that indicated on the auto-empty station.
- FOR INDOOR USE ONLY. Do not use the appliance outdoors or in commercial or industrial environments.
- Use only the original rechargeable batteries and the manufacturer's auto-empty station supplied with the appliance. The use of non-rechargeable batteries is not permitted.
- Do not use without the dust bag and/or filters installed in the auto-empty station.
- Do not use the appliance in an area with lit candles or fragile objects.
- Do not use in extremely hot or cold environmental conditions (below -5 °C or above 40 °C).
- Keep hair, clothing, fingers, and any part of the body away from the openings and moving parts of the appliance.
- Do not use the appliance in a room where an infant or child is sleeping.
- Do not use the appliance on wet surfaces or with stagnant water.
- Do not allow the appliance to pick up large objects such as stones, large pieces of paper, or objects that could obstruct the appliance.
- Do not use the appliance to pick up flammable or combustible materials such as gasoline, printer or photocopier toner, or use it in areas where these may be present.
- Do not use the appliance to pick up incandescent materials or materials that emit smoke, such as cigarettes, matches, hot ash, or anything that could cause a fire.
- Do not insert objects into the suction port. Do not use the appliance if the suction port is blocked. Keep the port clear of dust, gauze, hair, or anything that could reduce airflow.
- Be careful not to damage the power cord. Do not pull or drag the appliance or the auto-empty station by the power cord, do not use the power cord as a handle, do not close the power cord in a door, and do not rub the power cord against sharp edges or corners. Do not run the appliance over the power cord. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or through customer service to avoid risks.
- Do not use the auto-empty station if it is damaged. Do not attempt to repair the power adapter and do not use it if it is damaged or malfunctioning.
- Do not use the appliance with damaged power outlets or cords. Do not use the appliance or the auto-empty station if they do not function correctly, if they have been dropped, left outdoors, or have come into contact with water. In these cases, repair by the manufacturer or customer service will be necessary to avoid risks.
- Turn off the appliance before cleaning or performing maintenance operations.
- The plug must be removed from the power outlet before cleaning or performing maintenance operations on the auto-empty station.
- Remove the appliance from the auto-empty station and turn the power switch to OFF before removing the battery for disposal of the appliance.
- The battery must be removed and disposed of according to current laws and regulations before disposing of the appliance.
- Dispose of used batteries according to current laws and regulations.
- Do not incinerate the appliance even if it is severely damaged. Batteries could explode and cause a fire.
- Unplug the auto-empty station from the power outlet if it is not used for a prolonged period.
- The appliance must be used according to the instructions in this User Manual. ECOVACS ROBOTICS cannot be held responsible for any damage or injury caused by improper use.
- The robot contains batteries that can only be replaced by competent persons. To replace the robot's battery, contact customer support.
- If the robot is not used for a prolonged period, turn it off for storage and unplug the auto-empty station.
- WARNING: To recharge the battery, use only the removable power unit CH2117 supplied with the appliance.
- To meet RF exposure requirements, it is advisable to maintain a distance of 20 cm or more between the device and people during the operation of the appliance.
- To ensure compliance, operation at close distances is not recommended. The antenna used for this transmitter must not be used in conjunction with other antennas or transmitters.
Device Update
Generally, some devices are updated every two months, but the interval is not always specific. Some devices, especially those sold more than three years ago, will only be updated if a critical vulnerability is identified and corrected.

Instructions for Correct Product Disposal
This symbol indicates that the product should not be disposed of with other household waste throughout the European Union. To avoid damage to the environment or health caused by uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To recycle the used appliance, use collection and return services or contact the retailer where the product was purchased, who will be able to dispose of it correctly.

Notes Before Cleaning
- Arrange furniture, such as chairs, in their proper places before cleaning the desired area.
- During the first use, ensure all room doors are open to allow DEEBOT to explore the entire home.
- It may be necessary to place barriers on the edge of ledges to prevent the robot from falling.
- Ensure that the areas to be cleaned are well-lit so that the AIVI camera functions correctly. To ensure cleaning efficiency, remove power cords and small objects from the floor.
- To improve cleaning efficiency, remove objects such as cables, cloths, slippers, etc., from the floor.
- Clean the AIVI camera and TrueMapping distance sensor with a clean cloth and avoid using detergents or sprays.
- Fold carpet edges with tassels before using the product near them.
- Do not stay in confined spaces, such as corridors, and ensure that the AIVI camera is not blocked.
Quick Start
Before using DEEBOT, remove all protective films or protective strips on DEEBOT and the auto-empty station. Install the side brushes. Ensure that the color of the dual side brushes matches the mounting slot.
ECOVACS HOME App
To take advantage of all available functions, it is recommended to control DEEBOT via the ECOVACS HOME app. Before starting, ensure that:
- The mobile phone is connected to the Wi-Fi network.
- The 2.4 GHz band wireless signal is activated on the router.
- The DEEBOT Wi-Fi indicator light is blinking slowly.

Wi-Fi Connection
Before configuring the Wi-Fi connection, ensure that DEEBOT, the mobile phone, and the Wi-Fi network meet the following requirements.
DEEBOT and Mobile Phone Requirements
- DEEBOT is fully charged and DEEBOT's power switch is turned ON.
- The Wi-Fi status indicator light is blinking slowly.
- Disable the mobile phone's cellular data (it can be re-enabled after configuration).
Wi-Fi Network Requirements
- You are using a mixed 2.4 GHz or 2.4/5 GHz network.
- The router supports 802.11b/g/n and IPv4 protocols.
- Do not use a VPN (Virtual Private Network) or proxy server.
- Do not use a hidden network.
- WPA and WPA2 use TKIP, PSK, AES/CCMP encryption.
- WEP EAP (Enterprise Authentication Protocol) is not supported.
- Use Wi-Fi channels 1-11 in North America and channels 1-13 outside North America (refer to your local regulatory agency).
- If you are using a network extender/repeater, the network name (SSID) and password must match the primary network.
After establishing the Wi-Fi connection, DEEBOT enters network Standby mode if it does not receive any signal within 10 minutes.
Please note that the realization of intelligent functions such as remote start, voice interaction, 2D/3D map display and control settings, and personalized cleaning (depending on different products) requires users to download and use the ECOVACS HOME app, which is constantly updated. The user must accept our Privacy Policy and User Agreement before certain necessary and basic information can be processed and the product can be used. If you do not accept our Privacy Policy and User Agreement, some of the above intelligent functions cannot be realized through the ECOVACS HOME app, but you can still use the basic functions of this product for manual operation.
Charging DEEBOT
- Connect the Power Cord

Note: Do not place the auto-empty station on carpet. Keep the area around the station clear of objects and reflective surfaces. - Power ON (ON)
Note: I = ON, O = OFF. DEEBOT cannot be charged when it is turned off. - Charging DEEBOT
Ensure you start cleaning with DEEBOT from the station. Do not move the station during cleaning. Once cleaning is complete, it is recommended to remove the mop pad and manually place DEEBOT in the station.
Operating DEEBOT
For the first cleaning, ensure DEEBOT is fully charged.
During the first cleaning:
- Ensure the air freshener is installed to create a home map, including carpeted areas, in the ECOVACS HOME app.
- Ensure DEEBOT is fully charged.
- Check DEEBOT and provide assistance if there are problems.
- Start
Mount the air freshener. Tap [Click]. - Pause/Activate
Note: The robot's control panel stops blinking if the robot is paused for a few minutes. Tap the AUTO mode button on DEEBOT to reactivate the robot. - Return to Docking Station
Tap [3 seconds] to send DEEBOT to the auto-empty station.
OZMO™ Pro 3.0 Oscillating Mopping System
Note:
- Install the OZMO™ Pro 3.0 oscillating mopping system for floor scrubbing.
- Before installing the OZMO™ Pro 3.0 oscillating mopping system, ensure the contacts are completely dry.
- Avoid using the OZMO™ Pro 3.0 oscillating mopping system on carpet.
- It is recommended to wet and wring out the mop pad before installing it for better cleaning.

A multi-function cleaning tool is provided to simplify maintenance operations. Handle with care: the cleaning tool has sharp edges. Before performing cleaning and maintenance operations on DEEBOT, turn off the robot and unplug the auto-empty station.

The indicator light status on the auto-empty station indicates various conditions and solutions. For further assistance, refer to the ECOVACS HOME app or the troubleshooting section of this manual.

DEEBOT will try to untangle itself in various ways. If it cannot succeed, manually remove obstacles and restart it. Place a physical barrier or set up a virtual one in the ECOVACS HOME app. |
9 | During cleaning, DEEBOT shows path disturbance, operating errors, repeated cleaning, loss of small areas, etc. (If there is a large area that has not been cleaned temporarily, DEEBOT will recover the loss independently. Before proceeding with cleaning, arrange scattered wires, power strips, and other objects on the floor. Reduce scattered objects on the floor as much as possible. In case of missing areas, DEEBOT will correct the deficiency independently; do not interfere (e.g., by moving DEEBOT or blocking the path). It is recommended to close the door of this area and clean the area separately. After cleaning, DEEBOT returns to the starting point. Usage is safe. Wait for the wax to dry before cleaning. Clear the home environment to ensure DEEBOT can enter for cleaning. |
10 | Video Manager cannot be opened or does not display any screen. | Wi-Fi connection failed. Due to network latency, Video Manager may not be temporarily available. |
Check the Wi-Fi connection status. To activate Video Manager, DEEBOT must be in an area with a good quality Wi-Fi signal. Try again later. |

If you are beyond the available distance, you can also use the ECOVACS HOME app for DEEBOT operation. Unplug the station, wait 10 seconds, and plug it back in. Manually push the robot upwards onto the station and verify that the charging pins are connected correctly. At this point, the charging process starts and the voice message association is successful. |
