Product Structure
The IP camera features a lens, microphone, and indication light on the front. It is mounted on a base with a power port at the rear.

Indicator Lamp Status
Indicator lamp | The red light is normally on; the camera is energized. |
The red light flickers; wait for users to add the device. | |

RESET Button
Press the reset button for 3-5 seconds to restore the factory settings.
TF CARD Slot
Supports local storage of TF CARD.
Function Introduction
- HD: High Definition video quality.
- Intercom/Voice call: Two-way audio communication.
- AI cloud search: Intelligent cloud-based search capabilities.
- Motion Detection: Detects movement and triggers alerts.
- Cloud storage: Stores recordings in the cloud.
- Pan/Tilt: Allows remote control of camera direction (horizontal and vertical movement).
- Wide Angle: Captures a broad field of view.
- WiFi: Connects to wireless networks.
- APP: Control via a mobile application.
Setup Guide
1. Download APP
Search and download the "Smart Life" app from the App Store or Google Play. Alternatively, scan the provided QR code to download the app.
2. Register and Login
Register using your mobile number or email address, then log in to your account.
3. RESET
Method A: Hold a pin in the reset hole for 5-7 seconds. Release when you hear a "beep" indicating successful resetting. The device will reboot and await internet configuration, indicated by the Indicator LED flashing twice per second.
Method B: Delete the device from the app directly and reset it successfully.
Indicator LED Status
- Initial Status: Flashing rapidly (2 times per second), waiting for internet configuration.
- Video Streaming Transmission Status: Flashing slowly (1 time per second).
- Network Connected Status: Indicator LED off; camera is connected to Wi-Fi.
- Starting Status: Indicator LED on for 5 seconds.
4. Configuration A: QR Code Network Configuration
Tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon in the top right corner.
Choose "Smart Camera" from the device types.
Ensure the indicator light is flashing quickly and click "Next Step".
Enter your Wi-Fi password and click "+". The mobile phone will display a QR code.
Hold the camera 15-20 cm in front of the mobile phone for the camera to scan the QR code. Click "Heard the beep" when the device provides voice prompts.
The device will connect to the router. Wait for connection; the device will give voice tips, and the app will show 100%.
Choose a name for the device and click "Done" to view the live stream.
(If failed to connect by QR code network configuration, refer to Configuration B: SmartConfig.)
5. Configuration B: SmartConfig
If you have already connected successfully via QR code, this step is unnecessary.
Tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon in the top right corner.
Choose "Smart Camera" from the device types.
Ensure the indicator light is flashing quickly and click "Otherwise".
Select "SmartConfig" from the net-pairing methods.
Ensure the indicator is flashing quickly and click "Next Step".
Enter your Wi-Fi password and click "OK".
6. Main Function Introduction
The interface allows control of various camera functions:
- Speak: Click the microphone icon [microphone icon] to enable audio output from the device, and click again to enable audio input to the device.
- Direction: Use the Pan/Tilt controls [direction icon] to adjust the camera's direction if supported.
- Record: Click the record icon [record icon] to enable local snapshot and video recording, saving files to the phone.
- Alarm: Click the sun icon [alarm icon] to enable motion detection and set its sensitivity.
- Full Screen: Click the full screen icon [full screen icon] to view the stream in full screen.
Definitions:
- SD: Standard Definition
- HD: High Definition
Record Playback: Available for videos recorded to a Micro SD card.
Motion Detection Notification and Snapshot: View these in the "Me - Message Center".
7. Motion Detection Notification and Snapshot
The device captures snapshots when motion is detected. Check and delete snapshots in the "Me - Message Center".
8. Settings
Click the menu icon [menu icon] in the top right corner to access the login settings page.
Device Information: Check basic device information.
Basic Function Settings: Enable Flip screen and Time Watermark.
Memory Card Settings: Configure Event Recording or Non-stop recording. Recordings can be played back in the live stream page.
Shared Devices: Allows users to share devices with other Tuya account owners. Users can delete shared accounts or set them as administrators.
