We've had our electric tea kettle for close to 2 years now, but recently noticed that the buttons stop responding from time to time, and seems to reset to default settings like "C" versus "F" and alerts can't be turned off..and just not responsive to power off, etc..Noticed that it might have started after the deck of the pot has some spilled water on it. But after drying it off, and unplugging it for a while (or overnight) it works for a while after replugging it, but problem comes back in a day or so..Wondering if there is any other reset we can do or if you have any recommendations. We understand that it pass its 2 year warranty, but wanted to reach out if you have any other suggestions before we order a replacement. Thanks you. Stan
