Assembly Manual

Step 1 | install battery
Open the two covers of the Rotarycontroller and follow the instructions to install two AAA batteries. (1)
Then reinstall the two covers of the Rotarycontroller.

Step 2 | Connect
Plug the Wireless Receiver into the Controlbox of the Eliot Original desk.

Step 3 | Mounting
Mount the receiver under the table top using the enclosed screw. Secure the cable with the cable clip.

Use

• Up Raise the desk
  Press the Rotary controller and turn it clockwise. The desk will rise.
  Release to stop at the desired height.
• Down lower the desk
  Press the Rotary controller and turn it counterclockwise. The desk will lower. Release to stop at the desired height.

Set 2 Memory Positions

• Move desk to the desired height.
• Press and hold the controller for 5 seconds.
• The Rotarycontroller vibrates once to prompt to set the current position as the „memory position 1“.
• To set memory position 2 move desk to desired height.
• Double-click and press the controller for 5 seconds.
• The remote control vibrates twice to prompt to set the current position as the „memory position 2“.

Use Memory Function

• To reach memory position 1:
• Double-click and press the controller while rotating clockwise, and the desk will stop after reaching memory position 1.
• To reach memory position 2:
• Double-click and press the controller while rotating counterclockwise.
• The desk will stop after running to memory position 2.
  Note: During operation, before the actuator moves to the memory position, any action such as turning left, turning right or pressing the controller will stop the current operation.

Caution / Safety Instructions

1. Make sure to have followed all caution/safety instructions from the Eliot Original height-adjustable desk original user & assembly instructions.
2. When using the Rotarycontroller, the user must pay full attention and make sure that no person can be injured or object damaged in the process.
3. If the product is visibly damaged, it may not be installed or used.
4. Keep all electrical components away from liquids.
5. Do not open any of the electrical components. There is a danger of electrical shock.
6. Any changes made to the standard configuration of the handset will invalidate all liability or warranty claims.
   Every person responsible for this desk, at instal-lation or operating of the desk, in daily use or in service and repair work, must have access to these instructions and read them carefully. Keep these instructions close to your height-adjustable desk.

This Rotary controller is designed for use in dry office areas only.
Any other use is at the user‘s own risk.
Under no circumstances does the manufacturer accept warranty claims or liability claims for damages caused from improper use or handling of the controller.

Batteries should not be disposed with household waste. They should be segregated and brought to an appropriate collection point for recycling. Smartfurniture GmbH will also accept the batteries for recycling.
