1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, setup, operation, and maintenance of your Naifay Android Car Radio. This unit is specifically designed for Toyota Prius models from 2004 to 2009 that do not have a JBL sound system or a large factory screen.

2. Safety Information

4. Installation Guide

This section outlines the steps to install your new Naifay Android Car Radio. It is recommended to watch the provided installation video for visual guidance.

4.1. Removing the Old Unit

1. Carefully pry off the top trim piece of the dashboard.
2. Before proceeding, ensure all CDs are ejected from the old head unit.
3. Pry off the bottom trim piece. Locate and remove any exposed screws on the driver's side.
4. Remove the top screen unit by pulling it out and disconnecting its wiring.
5. Unscrew the remaining bolts holding the main head unit in place.
6. Carefully pull out the old head unit and disconnect all cables, including the antenna.

4.2. Wiring the New Unit

Connect the provided wiring harness to the new Naifay Android Car Radio. Ensure all connections are secure.

• Connect the main power harness to the corresponding port on the new unit.
• Connect the CANBUS box if your vehicle requires it for steering wheel controls or other features.
• Connect the GPS antenna and 4G antenna (if applicable) to their respective ports. Position the antennas in a location with good signal reception, typically taped to a flat surface behind the dashboard.
• Connect the radio antenna.
• Connect the backup camera input cable.

4.3. Installing the New Unit

1. Transfer the yellow/green plastic clips from the old radio's side brackets to the new unit's side brackets. These clips are essential for proper fitment.
2. Carefully slide the new Naifay Android Car Radio into the dashboard opening. Ensure all wires are tucked away and not pinched.
3. Secure the unit with the screws previously removed.
4. Re-install the top screen unit and the bottom trim piece, ensuring they clip securely into place.

5.2. Steering Wheel Control Programming
