Common Problems and Simple Troubleshooting
1) Unable to boot normally
- Wiring: Ensure correct connections for ACC, Key Control, and Ground. Check for loose or incorrect wiring.
- Fuse: If the yellow wire fuse blows repeatedly, check for short circuits in the unit's protection circuit. Try connecting the yellow and red wires together to test.
- Car Line Issue: If the unit boots with a separate 12V power supply but not with the car's wiring, the car's wiring may be faulty.
2) Automatic shut-down
- Cable Error: Ensure the automatic antenna power supply cable (blue) is not connected to the unit's power cable.
- Voltage Instability: Test with a stable 12V-5A power supply. If the issue persists, the unit may be faulty.
3) Having noise
- Speaker Power: Insufficient speaker power can cause noise at high volumes. Consider upgrading speakers.
- Speaker Cable Grounding: Ensure speaker cables are not grounded.
4) Remote control cannot be used
Test the remote's battery using a phone camera. If the IR emitter lights up, the battery is good.
5) Settings cannot be saved (no memory)
Ensure the yellow and red wires are connected together (yellow to positive, red to key control). If reversed, swap their positions.
6) Car audio with Bluetooth but it can't work
Pair the phone by searching for "CAR-BT" and connecting with PIN "0000".
7) Product smoke / FUSE blown
If the unit smokes or a fuse blows repeatedly, the internal circuit may be damaged and requires repair.
8) Sound adjustment issues
Adjust volume for basic sound level. Use the EQ settings for sound effects. If sound cannot be adjusted, reset the unit or check the volume knob.
9) No display of reversing video
Check camera wiring, including the reverse control line (pink or brown) and the backup light connection. Ensure the camera itself is functional.
10) USB flash disk cannot be played / Card slot issue
Format USB flash drive to FAT32. If the card slot doesn't accept the card, check for damage.
11) FM does not receive the radio station
Ensure the antenna is properly inserted and connected. Use the AMS function for auto-search or manually tune. Try inserting a screwdriver into the antenna port as a temporary measure.
12) No sound right after installation
Check for short-circuited speaker cables. Ensure the correct number of speaker wires are connected per speaker.
13) No sound after a while
Disconnect speaker cables and test with an external speaker to isolate whether the issue is with the unit or the car's speaker wiring.
