Setup

1. Power Supply

The feeder supports a 2-way power supply: AC adapter or batteries.

• Plug Powered: Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the feeder and the power adapter, then plug it into a wall outlet.
• Battery Powered: For backup power during outages, insert three D-cell batteries (not included) into the battery compartment at the bottom of the feeder. Battery life is approximately one year for one cat or half a year for two cats.

2. Assemble Bowls and Food Splitter

• Place the bowl holder onto the feeder's dispensing chute.
• Insert the food splitter into the designated slot on the bowl holder to divide food into two separate bowls.
• Place the two feeding bowls onto the holder.

3. Fill the Food Tank

• Open the lid of the food tank.
• Pour dry kibble into the tank. The tank has a 4L capacity, holding up to 16 cups of food.
• Ensure the kibble size is between 2-10mm to prevent blockages.
• Close the lid securely to maintain food freshness. The lid is designed to seal tightly.

4. App Download and Device Connection

The PETULTRA feeder is controlled via a smartphone app. Ensure your phone's Bluetooth and WLAN (Wi-Fi) are turned on.

1. Download the App: Scan the QR code above or search for "PetTech" in your app store to download the application. Download PetTech App
2. Add Device: Open the app and select "Add Device."
3. Select Feeder: Choose "Pet Feeder (Wi-Fi)" from the small home appliances list.

4. Connect to Network: Select your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password. Note: The feeder only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. If your router is 5 GHz, please set it to 2.4 GHz.
5. Wait for Connection: The app will show the connection progress.
6. Success: Once connected, you can customize the device name.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting a Feeding Schedule

Use the PetTech app to create a customized feeding schedule for your pets.

• Open the PetTech app and select your feeder.
• Navigate to the "Schedule" or "Feeding Plan" section.
• Set desired feeding times (up to 6 meals per day).

• Save your settings. The feeder will dispense food automatically according to your schedule.

2. Portion Setting Reference

Use the following table as a reference for setting appropriate portion sizes based on daily intake:

Troubleshooting

1. Food Not Dispensing

• Check Food Level: Ensure there is enough kibble in the food tank.
• Kibble Size: Verify that the kibble size is between 2-10mm. Larger kibble can cause blockages.
• Blockage: Check the dispensing chute for any obstructions. Clear any stuck food.
• Power: Ensure the feeder is properly powered, either via AC adapter or charged batteries.

• Wi-Fi Band: Confirm your router is broadcasting a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal. The feeder does not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi.

• App Permissions: Check that the PetTech app has necessary permissions (e.g., location, Wi-Fi) on your smartphone.
• Restart: Try restarting the feeder and your smartphone, then attempt to reconnect.
