4. Setup and Assembly
Assembly typically requires two adults. Clear a spacious area for assembly. Do not fully tighten all bolts until instructed.
4.1. Step-by-Step Assembly
- Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Lay them out on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches. Refer to the parts list to ensure all items are present.
- Attach Side Rails to Headboard: Connect the side rails to the headboard using the provided bolts and washers. Hand-tighten only at this stage.
- Attach Side Rails to Footboard: Connect the other end of the side rails to the footboard. Again, hand-tighten the bolts.
- Install Center Support Beam: Place the center support beam along the length of the frame. Attach any required support legs to the center beam and secure the beam to the headboard and footboard.
- Place Wooden Slats: Lay the wooden slats across the frame, ensuring they are evenly spaced. Secure the slats to the side rails using the designated fasteners. The slats are designed for optimal support and breathability.

6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning Instructions
- Upholstery: The velvet upholstery fabric should be dry cleaned only. For minor spills, gently blot with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid rubbing.
- Frame: Wipe the frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Under-bed Space: The 6-inch ground clearance allows for easy cleaning underneath the bed, including access for robotic vacuum cleaners.

6.2. General Care
- Periodically check all bolts and screws to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten as needed to maintain stability.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent fading of the upholstery.
7. Troubleshooting
- Squeaking Noises: If the bed frame produces squeaking noises, check all connections and ensure all bolts are securely tightened. Loose connections are a common cause of squeaking. Ensure the mattress is properly seated on the slats.
- Instability/Wobbling: If the frame feels unstable, verify that all components are correctly assembled and all fasteners are fully tightened. Ensure the bed is on a level surface.
- Missing Parts: If you discover any missing parts during assembly, refer to the 'Package Contents' section and contact Yaheetech customer support for assistance.
