  4. Fill Food Container: Open the lid and fill the transparent container with dry pet food. Ensure the food kibble size is appropriate for the feeder mechanism (typically 5-15mm diameter). Close the lid securely, engaging the double lock.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Setting the Feeding Schedule

The feeder allows you to program up to 6 meals per day, with 1 to 16 portions per meal.

  1. Unlock Control Panel: If the control panel is locked, press and hold the lock button (usually indicated by a padlock icon) for a few seconds until it unlocks.
  2. Set Current Time: Refer to the display and use the appropriate buttons (e.g., "SET", "UP", "DOWN") to set the current time.
  3. Program Meal Times:
    • Press the "MEAL" or "PROGRAM" button to enter meal setting mode.
    • Select the meal number (e.g., M1, M2, etc.).
    • Set the desired feeding time for that meal.
    • Set the number of portions (1-16) for that meal. Each portion typically dispenses a small, consistent amount of food.
    • Repeat for up to 6 meals.
  4. Manual Feeding: Most feeders have a manual feed button (often labeled "FEED" or "MANUAL"). Pressing this button will dispense one portion immediately.
  5. Lock Control Panel: After programming, press and hold the lock button again to prevent accidental changes to the schedule.

  2. Empty Food: Remove any remaining dry food from the container.
  3. Disassemble: Remove the lid, transparent food container, and stainless steel feeding bowl from the main unit.
  4. Wash Components: Wash the lid, food container, and stainless steel bowl with warm water and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
  5. Clean Main Unit: Wipe the main unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not submerge the main unit in water, as it contains electronic components.
  6. Dry Thoroughly: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and refilling with food. Moisture can cause food to clump or damage the feeder.
  7. Reassemble: Reassemble the feeder in reverse order of disassembly.

The ROJECO Automatic Pet Feeder incorporates features to ensure safe and reliable operation:

  • Double Lock Protection (Lid): The lid features a locking mechanism to prevent pets from accessing the food container or accidentally opening it.
